  1. Like others had said, I never liked Hyundai, but now after this BS, I completely despise them.
  2. I hope the keep they shifter and all the wood (AND ONLY WOOD) up to the radio. Faux wood would be fine (because I understand the cost limitations), but I think that keeping all buttons, shift designations, lights, cup holders, etc. off of that section would be an award winning American design.
  3. Cool car..........but a terrible name. I don't know why, but the name reminds me of a "As Seen On TV" infomercial product. It slices, it dices, it's the COMPETIZONE!!!!! I know there is an "i" between the z" and the "o" but it's easily missed. Don't know, I just might be a little crazy.
  4. Every single one that we have had in our dealership has had serious problems. Even the VW's that were only a few years old (that was most of them). Buttons and seat leather cracking, parts falling off, panel separation, etc.. These things are pieces of $%&t. I still have a soft spot for them though, and I hope they don't leave the USA.
  5. It would be nice if this thing could flash the middle finger on the offenders screen so the victim driver can keep both hands on the wheel.
  6. Amazingly, the train is a Chinese creation. A friend of mine went to China recently and rode it. Said it was pretty interesting.
  7. I don't know much about USAA, but I know a few people that has stayed at a Four Seasons resort, and every person said that they go to insane lengths to make the customer happy (and keep them that way). Cadillac should be proud to be in these ranks, and they need to stay up there too!
  8. Yeah, I have to agree. Yes, Cerebrus did bring Chrysler back to America, but Cerebrus is still an investment firm. Chrysler will become a lean, mean, bean counting machine!
  9. I do believe that this gives us a glimpse (if you squint) of what style impact a Cadillac Sixteen would have. The Sixteen would obviously not have a $2,000,000 price tag, but it would have this type of IN YOU FACE presence. The sixteen would of course have more style (and customers)!
  10. The only thing missing from the commercials is that distinct transforming noise from the 80's cartoon.
  11. Well, North Korea is getting closer and closer to complete collapse due to this bozo and his party.
  12. It looks fine for a European city car. I would drive one of these over one of those SMART cars (if I lived in Europe). This actually looks like a car, unlike the SMART.
  13. Ok, I haven't seen this on here yet, so if it's a re-post I apologize. Anyway, this is not any surprise to me and shows how "dedicated" Toyota is to the United States economy. http://money.cnn.com/2007/06/20/news/compa...sion=2007062006
  14. Will they be releasing the diesel engine options in the USA (or at least one of them). The answer is probably no, but then again the AWD took me by surprise (like it did to many of you). I think that GM is missing out on a good opportunity by not releasing small diesel engines. Especially when they already have the tech, production capacity, and equipment to do so.
  15. It would of bee cool if they included the Mini Cooper Robot. Greatest ads ever!!!!!!
  16. Wildmanjoe, I think you have linked the wrong pictures. That's one of the new Scions...............oh wait.
  17. SAAB has always had a mystic presence. Always odd but very intriguing. GM needs to keep working on the resurgence of the "not too popular" but "just right for the right person" brand. Oh, and I STILL think they need to bring the canopy top to production............that would be sweet! It wouldn't hurt to bring the classic logo with the airplane back too.
  18. It's possible in India and Mexico, but China will let unions only go so far. Sure, they are starting to get unions in some sectors (fast food for instance), but being a communist government at heart, there is NO WAY that they are going to let unions get to the level that they are in the USA. For it or against it, it's going to be the way things are.
  19. Toyota is fooling themselves if they think they can convince the UAW of the long term benefits of lower wages to preserve future jobs. GM, Ford, and Chrysler has been trying to do that same thing for years. I can't agree more with Toyota's thinking (only time I will ever do that) but the UAW want's everything NOW! No matter if the times are good or bad! Down the road, I think Toyota (and other transplants) are going to start to see the benefit(and survival need) of mass production in Mexico, China, etc..
  20. That's what I though also. On top of that, I thought Volvo actually contributed some meaningful R&D to the Ford company. They can get rid of Jaguar and Land Rover without missing much......... but Volvo?!?!?
  21. G5 Aveo Lacrosse(fixed with Super) Focus Vibe
  22. They said the SAAB 9-4X was full of SAAB DNA and had design features that were shown in recent concepts. The cool blue glow of the interior of the Aero X would be sweet. That has as much of a chance as the canopy top does though. Which I STILL think needs to be engineered into a production SAAB. We put a man on the moon, so why can't we design a practical canopy top for a production car.
  23. I think these would sell well in the USA and the world. I could see one in my driveway.
  24. I noticed that some of the vehicles had a fleet opt out option for the curtain airbags. Now, I can see XM, Onstar, and standards like that, but why allow an opt out of a safety feature as important as airbags? I understand the cost factor, but wouldn't it be better off( for GM and the purchaser) to keep fleet driving employees alive? Other than that, I see this coming year a positive one for GM.
