I think that technology-wise it should start with the Cadillac flagship and then trickle down to other Cadillac models and other GM brands. Regarding design, the flagship-to-'lesser'-models should also apply in each of the brands.

I'm sure the gauge clusters have been posted as a technology showcase, and like a concept car they're bound to have some overkill factor to them.

I think the CTS is awesome, inside and out! Unfortunately, GM still has to conquer the perception barrier.The criticism that usually applies to Chrysler interiors can be transported to the C-Class interior: it just doesn't look/feel right.

Too bad you don't want V8s. I was going to suggest a Suburban with military-syle paint, a huge pair of horns in the grille or front bumper and a machine gun on top: that would be scary! CTS seems to be a good choice, as would the 300 and Charger.

Aha, thanks!Some Portuguese auto journalist was dispointed at some of the interior materials apparent quality, but anything that isn't BMW, Audi, or Mercedes is not good enough for some of these people...

Thanks for the picture! It is a looker even with the front plate thingy. Your overall impression is positive, but I have a specific question: How are the materials in the lower dash/doors? Soft or hard?
