From what I have seen in documentaries about this issue, climate models show melting of ice caps, increased ocean temperatures and more chaotic weather behaviour: stronger hurricanes, longer drought and wet periods, and so on... seasons already appear to be starting/ending a month later than before. I believe we will be able to adapt and survive as a species, but there may be very large costs associated with dealing with this.

Me too, but the coupe is my favourite E-Class variant. -
Raised suspension probably has to do with poorer quality of Chinese roads. I'd expect the US version to have a ride height similar to our Insignia. I agree that the trim has to go... either put something resembling ports (which wouldn't go that well with the Insignia's design IMHO) or use the Insignia's turn signal repeater there and do away with the trim.

On the 9-5 that 2.0L I4 it is rated at 220PS using DI (for better mpg not more power). I agree on the V6: either the 3.0L V6 or the turbo 2.8L V6. Not sure if the 325PS OPC will ever make it to the US...

Won't the problem rust away anyway? Seriuosly - Glad the probes are ongoing. The fuel tank thing with GM's pickup trucks a long time ago had some ressonance, this will too. Detroit 3 should take advantage of this.

Complainig adds a healthy dose of to every thread, LOL What I am wondering is if what I read on GMI (which I am assuming is nothing but rumours at this point) about other Zetas being considered for the US means that Chevy could get a SWB Zeta sedan and Cadillac a LWB sedan to slot above the CTS.

Cost vs Pricing (i.e. GM expecting different margins for fleet and non-fleet sales)? Or this going to the US as a police car only could be a teaser of sorts... There are many possible reasons.
