  1. Nah, haven't died, just got a job and a 2 month old to take care of. Yeah, it came a long way from when I got ahold of it.
  2. Yeah, changing filter and fluid on any vehicle with high miles is iffy simply because you don't know if once you drop the pan and send the fluid there packing, is all the gunk and sludge that was in there going to still be there to hold all those parts together nice and tight. I'd definitely look at the condition. If it isn't gritty feeling, burnt smelling, or pink, I'd change it and risk the thing dropping out on you.
  3. I'd say either a problem with the yoke, or the U-joint right there at the transmission is probably shot.
  4. Check my previous post for the answer to item 9
  5. Pontiac, to answer your question.. Yes, the truck is mine. Actually, I'm the 3rd generation owner of it.
  6. Yeah, I was kinda thinkin' that one too
  7. Cooooooookie Crisp (sorry, couldn't help myself!)
  8. bumpity ump ump
  9. Thanks blu
  10. Overhead Cam Engines have their place, if you like high-revving engines. If you like to not have to get so deep into the throttle to get your power, Overhead Valve Engines work more to your liking.
  11. Item 1: What is "The Coke Machine" Item 2: What is the 6th Generation Item 3: Fashion Tone Styling Item 4: If the Beautifully Rounded Lines of the All-New Monte Carlo seem sort of familiar, they should. After all, we borrowed them from you Item 5: C Item 6: A Item 7: What is "Cars" Item 8: We Gonna Roll This Truckin' Convoy Across The USA Item 9: B At least, those are my best guesses.
  12. Sure, I'll toss my hat into the bucket on some Monte trivia
  13. I'm going to guess she's elsewhere in the house whilst you post this?
  14. Pontiac, you'll be all right man, they'll all turn that way sooner 'n later.
  15. That is someone who has absolutely no heart for their child.
  16. She's got to be able to, she wouldn't break out into simles staring up at just the ceiling otherwise.
  17. All right, here's my shot (little classic shot) He was a hard-headed man He was brutally handsome, and she was teminally pretty She held him up, and he held her for ransome in the heart of the cold, cold city He had a nasty reputation as a cruel dude They said he was ruthless, they said he was crude They had one thing in common, they were good in bed She'd say, 'Faster, faster. The lights are turnin' red." Life in the fast lane Surely make you lose your mind, mm Are you with me so far? Eager for action and bot for the game The coming attraction, the drop of a name They knew all the right people, they took all the right pills They threw outrageous parties, they paid heavily bills. There were lines on the mirror, lines on her face She pretended not to notice, she was caught up in the race Out every evening, until it was light He was too tired to make it, she was too tired to fight about it Life in the fast lane Surely make you lse your mind Life in the fast lane, everything all the time Life in the fast lane, uh huh Blowin' and burnin', blinded by thirst They didn't see the stop sign, took a turn for the worst. She said, "Listen, baby. You can hear the engine ring. We've been up and down this highway; haven't seen a goddam thing." He said,"Call the doctor. I think I'm gonna crash." "The doctor say he's comin', but you gotta pay him cash." They went rushin' down that freeway, messed around and got lost They didn't know they were just dyin' to get off And it was life in the fast lane Life in the fast lane
  18. serial port
  19. I wouldn't! First one looked painful enough (even if the guy did walk away)
  20. I'm saying angels because every time we're taking pictures in the sanctuary at church, they're there.
  21. One of the best tools for an old stubborn tractor, the full dictionary of cuss words!
  22. So did I. Kinda glad I wasn't in that one.
  23. I will admit that down here its not like we get a foot of snow or more a year, but still its the same with rain. Its all slick and it all reduces traction, so if you drive accordlingly, it doesn't matter what you're in, you'll get from point A to point B without any additional dents, dings, or scratches.
  24. So far, I haven't seen a thing other than the norm.... I'll keep my eyes lookin' though (tomorrow will be a good day at work for that)
  25. Well they proved it at the Bristol test session, the front splitter isn't durable. The whole car isn't all that great handling, and as far as suspension set ups and etc, they're having to go BACK in their setup books to like the late 90s to get something that'll work. Most of the drivers are complaining about it. Hell, even the inspection process to get the car checked in at the start of the day takes about an hour (much longer than it used to).
