  1. I'm not impressed with the Chinese LaCrosse. KInd of bland, actually. The rear looks like an ALtima and the front a FOrd 500.
  2. The Buick website has been updated. They need to offer black as a color and maybe more color selections, too.
  3. This Statesman would have been around only until the Zeta Lucerne is ready...so a couple of years, much like the Australian g-8. Buick's top priority should be a coupe/convertible. Something hot that will have people saying "wow, that's a Buick?"

  5. Was the lack of black as a color option a mistake, or are they really not offering black? It seems hard to believe that such a popular color for Buick for decades wouldn't be offered.
  6. Steve Shannon wrote an article on gmfastlane blog and you can respond to him there
  7. Do you know if you can get the second row seats with a bench seat like the 3rd? I'm thinking car seat stuff.
  8. Bob Lutz talks about the Enclave http://fastlane.gmblogs.com/
  9. Our BMW X-5 is shedding a tear in the driveway. It knows it is on its way out. We're trading it in for an Enclave! This car is hot!
  10. After the Enclave debuts in LA, what is next?
  11. I can't stand reading about Buick sales being down when writers don't analyze the reasons. Buick has fewer models. 10 years ago Buick had several models. For 2006 they offered only 5: Lucerne, LaCrosse, Rendezvous, Rainier and Terrazza, all with various trims. In 1996 they offered 11 models, with various trims. This is why sales are down. I know Buick is now part of the BPG channel, but they could use a few more models. 1. a convertible/coupe, bigger than the Pontiac g-6, more upscale, a real head turner. 2. a smaller SUV to go with the bigger Enclave. 3. a LaCrosse wagon. 1996 Buicks Park Avenue LeSabre Century Century Wagon Regal Sedan 2 door Regan Roadmaster Sedan Roadmaster Wagon Skylark Skylark Coupe Riviera
  12. Maybe that is the refresh of the LaCrosse. Adding portholes and a new front end is pretty easy.

  14. I'm thinking we should be hearing something soon about the Buick zeta. Lutz said this past spring in about 6 months GM would make some Zeta decisions. Any inside info?
  15. They also had them in the 60s, 70's and 80's.

  17. That '07 Camry is ugly in person, but that close up you posted is 100% hideous! Thanks for that. It's kind of Mazda looking.
  18. I got this from another website: Can any dealers please confirm? LaCrosse Super WAS at the dealer meeting in Vegas last weekend. It DID look like the China version (similar, imagine with oval grill like lucerne). It IS due out next summer, only in the CXS version which will come with the same V8 as the Impala SS. The 2008 CXL and CX *should* have the new front end as well, making the LaCrosse look more like the Lucerne.
  19. Buick is totally getting away from "a dying brand." I'm 36 and bought a Lucerne and my wife and I are totally planning on trading in our BMW x-5 for the Enclave. The Toyota Camry has really become the "favorite car of the elderly," at least here in NY.
  20. Any truth to rumors that next summer the '08 LaCrosse will have a new front end, and portholes?
  21. I think Tiger will sell plenty of Enclaves, but I think they should delay his appearance until they are ready to hit the showrooms. Why get people all excited if they can't buy/test drive for 7 months! Secondly, it might be time to make a car people can really believe Tiger would drive. I can't picture this megastar taking a Sunday cruise in a LaCrosse. A Velite, yes! Teens and young people love TIger but do they aspire to own a LaCrosse or a Terrazza? A Velite convertible would be a huge hit.
