  1. It looks like we are getting a version of the Buick Regal. http://www.nationalpost.com/news/story.html?id=1052937 This is smaller than the next LaCrosse/Invicta with the capability of a smaller 4 cyl engine
  2. smk Maybe among your high school friends Buick has that image, but once you move on to college and onto the working world you will see something different. The Enclave has nav and bluetooth, and younger people are buying them. There are also folks who need a bigger vehicle. Also, when you become an adult in the working world you will understand the vital role Buick plays in a worldwide GM.
  3. anybody own one? What do you think of it?
  4. it was a greenish blue. if you go to autonews.con and punch in buick it pops up
  5. There are more new pictures in today's autonews.com (9/29) if anyone is a member and can post them. Looks like a cool color.
  6. Buick could use a car smaller than the new LaCrosse, and the Regal fits the bill.
  7. smk just hates Buick. We should just ignore his comments. If the new Buick came with a supermodel, a cure for cancer, and a trunk full of cash he would still hate it. It's okay to criticize, but get your facts straight and add some suggestions. Hatred alone is a sign of ignorance.
  8. Today the picture was unveiled during Wagoner's news conference. Anyone have it?
  9. Never have probably never will. The Sky should be a Buick Bengal.
  10. I had a used LeMans, and wanted one of the late 80s early 90s Sunbird convertible really bad when they first come out., but couldn't afford it. By the time I could afford one Pontiac had turned the Sunbird into a total chick car. White tops, swishy stickers on the side, and then it became the Sunfire. When I was a kid I love the Firebirds, and might be one if they made it now.
  11. My wife and I have a 2006 Lucerne CXS and a 2008 Buick Enclave. We traded in a MB C-class for the Lucerne and BMW X-5 for the Enclave..kids love it. Our first Buicks together, although my parents drove them and I had a Skylark right out of college. We plan on going with the Invicta when the Lucerne lease is up, although our first choice would be the Velite if that made it.
  12. Can any Buick insider definitively answer the following questions? 1. Is the Excelle/Skylark coming to the U-S? 2. Will the Invicta be called the Invicta? 3. There are rumors of a smaller Enclave, like the Vue. Are those true? 4. Is Buick getting a convertible?

    Buick Magazine

I've gotten three of these I think and each edition they feature one of their models, this month it is the LaCrosse Super and the feature a location and a young owner and other stuff. Last time it was a couple and their Enclave I believe and this edition it is a couple and their Enclave and their Electra.

    Buick Magazine

It definitely seems Buick is going after younger people. This mag looks hip and puts Buick in a differnet light.

    Buick Magazine

Anyone get this Buick Magazine called "B?" It's pretty cool, has nice pictures and features on Buick, owners, etc. The latest issue has some cool pictures of old Buick dashboard clocks.
  18. Sounds promising. My Lucerne lease is up in January. What will my options be for a new Buick?

  21. I couldn't help notice that on buick.com there is a link to a Car and Driver article that says the stunning Riviera will be produced. Why would Buick post that article if it was false. I heard a rumor GM plans to unveil it at the Olympics in Beijing this summer for production in China and the U-S. Can anybody confirm?
  22. Buick's image is definitely changing for the better. Most people's grandparents I know drive the Toyota Camry, which is now dethroned Buick as the official car of the elderly. My wife and I are both south of 40 and we have a Lucerne (that rocks) and and Enclave on the way. Buick's average is still high but it is dropping. Buick just tied Lexus for # in reliability, better than any GM brand. The new cars in the Buick pipeline are going to be hot, and with Buick's reputation for quality is assures a bright future. You tend to really dwell on the negative with a strange hatred for Buick...it is kind of sad. Most people don't know a pushrod from a push-up and yet you drone on about that constantly. We get it..you hate Buick. It would be nice if you could accept the fact Buick is a big part of GM is here to stay and then offer some constructive ideas. We all post here because we like Buick, but is really weird for someone to post repetitive hate all the time.
  23. The Enclave concept was unveiled at NAIAS in January 2006. The production version was unveiled in LA in November 2006. Enclave production began in May 2007. If production of the 2010 Regal/Lacrosse begins in February 2009, we could see it unveiled in Detroit this January.
