  1. Ducati's are beautiful...it's a shame they are such high maintenance.

    New 400 hp AMC Eagle

I wish I had a camera tonight...I went to a movie and in the parking lot was a camo'd X6 and a small camo'd roadster of some sort...It looked like a younger guy was getting in the driver's seat of the X6. I circled around him a couple times in my car and he was giving me the weirdest looks. I wish I had a camera. I mean, we know what the X6 will look like more or less, but that smaller camo'd car was more itneresting...could've possibly been a 1er convertible.
  3. Snitz never treated us like this...

    Golfers.

    Taylor Made.
  5. I dunno...the QX was never that offensive to me. Sure, it is definitely no looker, but there are worse...
  6. That "plebian pooprod engine" as you so eloquently put it (and for the sake of argument, let's say it is the LS7 and compare it to the M5's S85), is not only lighter than the S85, but it is a smaller overall package, produces more power and more torque (especially torque), and it is a much more efficient engine than the overengineered garbage that is the S85. Take the S85 out, throw in the LS7, and you've just made the M5 a better car.
  7. If they can keep it close to the 4000lb mark then they will be ok. The M5 weighs slightly over 4k. The RS4 weighs slightly less than 4k. The RS6 is a pig and weighs in closer to 4500lbs (granted, that's in wagon form.) The E63 weighs slightly more than the M5 coming closer to 4100 lbs. These are all fairly heavy cars. Adding in an LS engine may actually decrease weight over the base car so who knows...
  8. Happy belated man!
  9. It was a video specially made for a GM conference. Not intended to be a commercial.
  10. This was also my initial impression. I do not care for what they did with the front end. I would've liked to see them incorporate the CTS's front into a V-style, kinda like the SEMA CTS rather than slap on the previous CTS-V's front end with a bumper that would look fitting as an aftermarket kit for a Japanese car... It is growing on me a little, but I think it could've been done better.
  11. Hmmm...I dunno...
  12. A Suzuki SV650S Or a BMW 540/6
  13. Just a few from my collection...
  14. 2:42/3 the track says "f@#k"
  15. I remember that Aztek...So cool. I think it was one of the first cars I ever "photoshopped." I can't remember what I did to it, but I know it was my first...I think it was on here too. Back in the good ol' days of Snitz.
  16. Did you know they have the internet on computers now?
  17. Still too much work...I'll take my fake logs, with the fake embers and the decorative, fake pine cones fueled by the gas line, and ignited by the electric starter, turned on by the remote.
  18. There are several different types of people, but as I see it, the main groups are: The people who buy domestic and don't need much persuasion if any to buy again. Then there are the people who have sworn off domestic and are strictly import. Those people are going to be very, very difficult to persuade. In fact, it could be said that it is a waste of resources trying to persuade that type of person right now (granted, that may be a bit extreme.) What is most important is getting product attention to those who are on the fence. Those who may or may not be interested in a domestic car, but haven't settled completely 100%. They can be much more easily persuaded one way or the other. Once that demographic has been achieved, then the rest will follow. You will start to see those hardcore, stubborn import buyers changing some of their previously held viewpoints, and then they will be the next to fill in the demographic of those who can be persuaded.
  19. I'm just realizing that you people create your own bias to bitch about... The lambdas get a great review in general. Why? Because all three are great vehicles. But no, we don't like that they are all lauded in the same paragraph, so let's argue about the semantics of the journalist's choice in the terms he uses for his article along with how it should have been written. Apparently, unless it reads like it came out of the mouth of a robot it isn't a credible review.
  20. I don't know...I think "camry-based" sounds a lot worse in my opinion...The last thing I want to hear is that my luxury sedan is based on a camry...On the other hand, "triplets" is just a creative way of grouping the three lambdas together. I didn't read "triplets" as a derogatory comment at all. They are three very similar vehicles mechanically, and while they may share some different sheet metal here and there (most noticeably with the enclave,) and sport different interiors, that doesn't make one more distant from another. Would you rather have them say "fraternal triplets" instead?
  21. I think you're reading way too much into it.
  22. I'm running on P-zero's right now on my car. Personally, I thought the PS2 was a better tire, but the p-zero's are ok...BP, that's quite a bit for those tires...I don't even spend quite that much (very close, but not that much) on PS2's and I'm running 285/30/19 in the rear and 255/35/19 in front.
  23. We picked up a 46" Bravia XBR recently...beautiful picture, beautiful tv...expensive though. I was looking at the new Aquos today and they are very nice...I'm surprised at how inexpensive they are now...they used to be comparable in price to the XBR's...
