  1. Agreed. Very well said.
  2. When things are as quiet as they have been around here recently, you notice when someone is missing for a period of time.
  3. For the dissenters, let me ask you, do you like your crow crispy or original?
  4. Where might my lotion be? Oops! Did I say that out loud? Anyway, this needs to go to the Lounge, stat.
  5. If this is indeed what Rolls Royce intends to build, I am sure that they will quickly find their way onto GM Legal's watchlist. The roofline, DLO, and the entire rear-end of the car indeed looks Sixteen-inspired. Anybody remember what happened to the short-lived, revived Studebaker's XUV once GM realized what it looked like a few years back?
  6. A shrill scream through the piercing silence -- guess that means PCS is back!
  7. Electrifying! Chevrolet Volt to be seen at Paris Another early debut from GM. Link to original Article @ Street Commodores

  9. I agree. We should scale back military presence in other countries and quit trying to act like a global police force. While it is nice to help out other countries when they are in a time of need, it is not required of us to have our presence installed unwarranted. Not every nation's problems are our own.

  11. Hope today has been a great birthday for you, Charger!

    Nick!

    Happy belated birthday wishes, Nick.
  13. +1 Place this twin-turbo 3.6 under the hood of more mainstream GM products and then we will talk. I believe Ford will place their twin-turbo 3.5L in products other than what you will find at Lincoln in the future. I will take a quick stock here for a moment, if you will. Ford: Future rear-drive products are on the way without delay, decent spread of the twin-turbo 3.5L in cars beyond Lincoln. GM: Future rear-drive products in serious question or canceled all together, twin-turbo 3.6L limited to Cadillac. I am going to have to ask a Ford executive in the future how GM's lunch tastes, it seems.
  14. It should not have to be so difficult to be a GM enthusiast. The more news like I this I hear day by day, the more I defect to another automaker. I am still keeping my ear to the ground for GM, but more and more I find myself tuning in elsewhere. New can of worms to be opened: what does this mean for "Omega," the rear-drive platform which was slated to replace Zeta and Sigma? While Ford has promised us up to five new rear-drive vehicles and shows no sign of deviating from its future plans, GM can't seem to get it's $h! together.
  15. I have found Mr. Ninety-Eight for you, Blu. Link.

  17. The NA Colorado and the Thai Colorado are essentially the same truck. Basically, think of the Thai Colorado as a NA Colorado with a MCE. More photos: If you will look here, it also has an updated interior: http://www.chevroletthailand.com/corporate...do/interior.htm
  18. I am sorely disappointed.
  19. GM should not be too surprised, however. I guarantee that this situation has been in the back of their mind ever since the F5 project came onboard. Great news! Tell us, how are those headlights? :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Black is very hard to maintain, yes. But you get an impeccable-looking car as a result from a taken-care-of coat of it. There is only one example of where I would reconsider purchasing a black car, though. And that would be with any Chrysler product produced in the late 1990s. I have seen the black paint on most Chrysler products fade out due to sun damage, and fade quite badly. I have seen it happen on an acquaintance's black Dodge Avenger and my own father's Dodge Dakota. Quite a shame, really. I hope the guy gets back with you or that he has not sold it already. I wish you luck in your search. And if I see anything in my area, 'Tooth, I will be sure to let you know. Camaros are quite plentiful around here, if you don't mind a drive or shipping fees. You too. Take care.
  21. You know, I would not doubt if my local Chevrolet dealer will be closing in the future. They are a very small dealership, and I know they do not do significant business and have a lot that is sadly skewed towards trucks. They have been based here in my immediate area for around fifty years now.
  22. If the SS/TC were 50/50 all-wheel drive with a six-speed manual transmission, it would actually be somewhat tempting to me as a possible runabout car. ... And it could provide the framework for a rally-spec Cobalt.
  23. Agreed. No worries; you have in no way offended me. And believe me when I say, it doesn't really take too much to offend me. I would have to agree, since you did purchase it in black, which has, is, and always will be my first color choice on a new car. Black offers a degree of visual class that is rarely surpassed by any other color. Which is why I have at least kept all of my Hot Wheels, my Legos ...
