Where in the hell is the starter on the Northstar 4.6 starter in a cadillac XLR helping out one of my friends replace it. Me and him went through a 12 pack of beer searching for it. I'm so confused right now... Where is it????

Today I went up to the Jefferey Buick dealership in hope of finding parts for my 85 Riviera sunroof and they were telling me that the parts are all discontinued but they might be in Wisconsin somewhere. I was wondering if anyone else ever heard of this because I would like to know where this place might be.

Well for my 87 century with the 3.8 it was extremely hard for 2 of the back plugs but I removed to top engine mount and rolled the engine forward and set a couple 2x4's to hold it up and it gave me plenty of room. Its really worth it because if it is as tight of a fit as mine was you can save yourself alot of trouble.

Well check the crank sensor that could cause a no spark situation. As for overheating the radiator itself may be clogged up inside and loose alot of efficiency so it may just need a new radiator. Also sometimes when a computer goes you will have some crazy effects just pick one up at the local junk yard give it a try.

Possible brake noise you should pull the wheel and investigate make sure no crap is wedged in there or the pad might be not properly attached and shimed.

Never happened to me but if it did I think it would be time to put my concealed firearms permit to use, :AH-HA_wink: But normally if I see anyone near my car I just approach them and most of the time they leave if not thats time to grab the weapon.

I set up a toggle switch in my car that is wired up from the fuse box feed to the brake lights where I tied in to it so I can flash my brake lights without actually stopping. Normal brake lights are fully operational as well but I think it is a very good feature and its works. The other day someguy was too close to me so i flicked it on and back he went. Also next I was thinking about wiring up a toggle switch with reverse lights to scare someone at a traffic light just flick it on. Any thoughts about my invention???

Reminds me somehow of the charger looking at the back end but thats just my opinion..

Well its hard to say but I guess if it were me I would go one by one until it works so I might be able to save a buck if I happen to replace the right one before doing all but if cash isn't tight and you don't mind it would save time to do all in one shot. Myself I'm leaning towards camsensor because I was experiencing similar problems and the cam sensor seemed to be the problem but I replced the crank as well because I figured do it now so I'm all set.

Old century did the same thing replaced coil pack and cam and crank sensors. Its possible its your coil pack. Worked for me also it would sometimes help but hard to tell if it was just a coincidence but man that would give you a little hope you may get it to start without killing your starter and yes I did burn out my starter when I was having the problem. A tip if you live by a junkyard pick up a coil pack for your car beats paying the $99.00 at least for me and it may just fix your problem..

Yes everything goes tailights and turn signals but i never had it happen where i push the brake and the instrument panel lights come on but they just go out but my radio ilumination fluctuates as I use the brakes and turn signals so I have a feeling it is linked with that...

I feel bad to be you slow ass cops take an hour to fill out an accident report if you are lucky and feed them donuts. Well did they stop or was it a hit and run becuase around hear you get hit and they just hit you and run. Lets see in the past 5 years I have experienced 4 hit and runs its horrible out here. Just stop and talk half of them I would of just let slide if they would of been a man about it and stopped.

Actually I realized what I am doing is very childish and actually I'm quiting because of it... Its better now then after getting arrested and screw up my career.

Myself interiors may make or break the sale. I need as much extras as possible. I will only buy a loaded car I figure why get some barebone car to save a couple dollars because in the future I will regret it. But I myself look at all aspects of the interior I like something that looks good and is also functionable for a daily driver. Theres nothing more then I hate is a car that is uncomfortable to drive. I need the smooth ride and reclinable seat for that long drive. By the end of the day I have the chair reclined so far I can just see the road.

Heres my Riviera finnaly got around to taking a picture. I lost my hubcap the other day because I got new tires and the guy didn't put it on right (figures). Love the moonroof its all power from the factory.

I was looking into getting a very good fuel economy car whats a really good car out there that won't be chuggin the gas but won't be holding the power out that I want. My riviera is unbareable with these high gas prices.

My 1985 Riviera has the odyssey II econo vent that was factory installed. It doubles as a pop up sunroof and also a slide back moon roof but I need a new seal and other parts for it where would I go about finding these parts? Also I'm a little confused on some adjustments anyone know a good place to find information on that?

I've went through about a fuse a night now which tells me I have a problem I no its gonna require some tracing which I'm not going to like so where would be the best place to start I have a few ideas but would like to know if anyone else had more experience with these shorts... Its my 85 Riviera if that would help so where should I start the circuit only is composed of dash lighting and the tail lights.

Well I wish I could pass up drugs but I just need them like here was me on April 20th a couple years back with a whole bunch of people it was a harlem shocker.(weed + Tobbacco)
