Well you can order the XM radio upgrade kit from the Buick website... http://www.buickparts.net/product_info.php?products_id=833 That would cover all that you need to keep you stock radio and just upgrade it so you can recieve xm radio. Hope that would help its a little pricey though but yeah its worth it so you can keep your stock radio without all the extra crap.

I was wondering what is a really good air freshioner you guys like to use. I always use the trees that dangle and I have tried that one that clips on your vent and it has that liquid that evaporates in the air. But what ones are the best... I hate walking to my car and having it reak like whatever it does sometimes reaks of marjuana when I hotbox it on the weekends but mainly I just want something strong those damn trees that hang from the mirror only last a couple days with the strong smell I like.

Dead battery all fixed now had to pull the damn tire and a lot of other stuff to get the damn thing out.

Well I have a 2000 dodge intrepid and it wouldn't crank after I had a couple beers up at hooters and after that I decided it was a good time to take 5 minutes to blaze it up because I was pissed then I just started to look for a potential person that could jump me got it jumped runs great drove home now at home i restarted it 5 times in a row and I am running everything i possibly can got everything on works great this is the second time its happened any ideas?? Also when the battery died it was completely dead all together enough to light up the dash but then i would touch the brake petal and the whole car would go black with some trippy clicking noises.

O well it stores it in the computer and it will stay in it for so many starts then it clears so if you happen to see it pop on or if it has been on somewhat recently it never hurts to run by and get it checked

Well if that check engine soon light came on recently or not too long ago you will be able to get the code it left in the ecm. You just jump terminals a and b with a paper clip that u bend or any other object availible. Then turn key to run position where all the lights on the dash light up but don't start it. Then watch the check engine soon light it will flash a code 12 at both the begining and end and in between will be that actual code left buy whatever triggered the light. Also and each code will flash 3 times each. LONG PULSE - (1.2 seconds) counts off the first digit (or tens position) in code SHORT PULSE - (0.4 seconds) counts off the second digit (or ones position) in code If you are able to pull the code you can post what you got and I could tell you the possibilities or if you live near an autozone they will normally jump it for you and check the codes and they will take you in and they can tell you the possibilities as well. Some other things to consider have you replaced the wires and plugs yet if you haven't do that as well because worn out plugs will give you bad gas mileage as well as giving you back your pickup. If you did replace the plugs already what was the mileage and what plugs did you use.

I hate to see a car go my first 87 buick century had only 75000 miles on it when i let it go the parts just all started going at once gas line started leaking timing jumped, coil pack went, then i was having trouble with the sequetial fuel injection. I got it to run for another month great till I kept on getting code 41. I think i replaced every part it specified of course parts from the local junkyard not to invest too much into it i put in a computer cam and crank sensor and coil. One thing i didn;t replace was ignition module but doubt that would of helped

Man Rivieras are great cars why would you ever want to make it a beater plus being fwd its not gonna be half as fun as rwd. My 85 riviera is a great car nice and solid and very little rust which I'm taking care of soon...

I don't understand how anyone would like something that simple and weird looking. Think about how much thought went into making that box on wheels. Yet today there are many people that will go out and buy a box on wheels.

Yeah don't worry about it thats normal if it really bothered you that much you could probably fix it because when I put in a big amp in a car when bass hits the headlights and interior lights will dim but thats why you put in a Capacitor at least audio wise but I would imagine if you added a small capacitor to the door lock switch that would fix your problem but its too complicated and definantly overkill.

No worries all I infact purchased gap insurance on my loan and it paid off so I have no loss whatso ever and no injury but I wish i still had the car.

Yeah i'm looking into a lawsuit but I really don't know if it was driver stupidity or on purpose.

I dno for sure its not too bad but a car is never the same once its in an accident I will fix it though just needs replacement front bumper, hood, and other parts and of course a windshield and yes the frame may indeed be bent

Yeah i just watched the old school episode and they had the hood open and yeah they replace like everything mechanical, the engine, and trans, I guess they probably just about replace everything too bad they don't show you some of that.

I was wondering the same thing on that one show they said that guy with the car hauler kept breaking down about once a week. They never really show anything to do with working on the mechanical components other then rims and tires.

That show is great they threw in an electric fake fireplace in this one guys truck and they always throw in like 1000 watt sound system in for some old guy that would probably have a heart attack if he really cranked that bass.

One reason is depending on your driving preferences you may not get the full benifit of the hybrid itself such as if you roll the stop signs like many people do then you don't get the free energy of regenerative braking. Its not much but the people who don't come to complete stops will end up with bad MPG. Plus cold weather can decrease efficiency up to 35% so here in detroit in the winter it wouldn't do too good.

This is not totally true it may be a pain but as long as he lets it warm up before he shuts it off just let it run while he runs in if hes just going to do something for a second its not necessarily bad for short trips unless you don't get it up to operating temp before shutting it off and with that said maybe just invest in a remote start that allows you to remove the keys and lock the doors and just let it run. I know a few people that use a deisil as a daily driver and its all in a matter of letting it get up to operating temp. so you may not want the extra hassle but there is no reason why a deisel wouldn't work out for short trips if you just take some extra care. Its also nice if at least once or twice a week you would take it out on the expressway.

I have to say my anti drug is marjuana and marjuana is not a drug it is a plant that anyone can grow in their house just order beaners and grow. It is very relaxing and can make a trip upnorth so much more relaxing as you are blazing down the expressway.
