  1. Back when you guys were young what drugs did you try??? If none how did you manage to do it I find it hard as hell to not do drugs...
  2. Best you can do its is extremely hard to diagnois some sounds such as you describe without hearing them in person because everybody thinks of a sound differently such as the "whirring sound" you describe...

    E85

Yes as capriceman said ther is no modifications needed if the car is e85 compatable it is designed so you can run e85 and run gasoline as well if you were somewhere they didn't sell E85 so you are set to fill up.
  4. Yeah that is one good looking cop car it looks alot tougher then the crown vic so I would choose the charger any day. Nice cars too
  5. I was at the store the other day and any place like best buy/ circuit city or your local radio installation shop carry them and will install so look into that
  6. Yeah gas prices suck especially for my riviera its killing me needs gas every other day...
  7. Agree even though we all like the powerful v8 with gas prices it would be best to buy the most fuel efficient car as possible
  8. Nitrogen is a very dry, stable non-reactive gas so that being for a performance wise it is very good because the pressure will remain more stable unlike plain out air that has moisture.
  9. The best place is at the Detroit International Auto Show eat some crazy food then go there its hilarious people are soo close and you rip one and people back off plus its always good to sit in a Ford let one go and get out watching the face of the next guy that sits in it...
  10. Well when you say it won't rev past 4000 rpm is this in park or neutral by any chance because i know some cars have a rev limiter in park and neutral just a thought. Also sometimes if your fuel pump may be going or the filter is clogged you will get some high rpm hesitation because it almost sounds like it isn't getting enough fuel especially at high rpms so I would for sure get that check engine soon light checked out because that might be a key to properly diagnose the problem... And don't be afraid to take it up to autozone you will save some money and normally they can help you out plus its free.
  11. ABS can be useful but it has been proven that infact in some cases ABS will lengthen the stopping distance but I would still consider it optional the only thing that will save you from an accident is your own knowledge and how you handle the situation... By the way most accidents can be prevented if you didn't always ride the bumper of the car in front of you because if you were back at a proper distance you would have plenty of time to stop without even needing your ABS... So if it were me and I wanted to keep my monthly cost down I would say no ABS.
  12. As for abs I don't find it needed only one of all my cars has abs... One of my cars came with rear wheel abs but disconected it to avoid a costly bill. So myself I don't believe you need it hear in michigan the roads get slick but I find it very over rated and make for costly repairs in the future. As for limited slip you will get a little better acceleration without torque steer and its mainly for performance but overall if you want to keep payments down it is not needed but more of a luxury so all in all if I had to choose between both i would get LSD because ABS is way over rated and alot of the time will not operate properly in the long run anyways.
  13. Yeah rentals are fun you gotta love being able to do those neutral slams and reverse to drive slams all the stuff you always wanted to do but not to your own car... I love the grinder where u r at a stop light and just twist the key to start it when it is running... alot of people just stare at you...
  14. Accel Power Filter Looks like a good performance air filter one time use and it isn't too bad in price
  15. Yeah i no what u mean I put that damn fix a flat in mine and can really throw it off balance but i guess if you have a leak u have to fix it i got home on it a while ago but still today i haven't fixed it but it does hold air the olny problem if when you check the psi it squirts out the $h! in the tire gauge
  16. Well if you really want it i gave u a site with one for universal gm order it put it in yourself or bring it to your local stereo installation center and I'm sure they will put it in if you pay them to.
  17. Thats crazy I wonder if you shake them hard enough one will fall out as I sometimes do at a vending machine if no ones looking its not so much about getting something for free its just the fun of it when some guy walks by as you are doing it and stares at you...
  18. http://www.tweeter.com/sm-terk-xm-direct-r...pi-2055206.html Well since your radio is xm ready this should be all you need it is for gm vehicals. I would contact your dealer though because they should have the upgrade kit and will install it unless you are good with car radios but to install this yourself wouldn't be much trouble at all. Hope this helps
  19. Also to add on make sure when ever you add antifreeze mix it 50/50 or 70/30 in really cold climates... Many people know this yet I still see many people that buy straight antifreeze and just fill their whole radiator with it. Antifreeze doesn't have the cooling properties of water and if you happened to be unaware and just added 100% antifreeze that would cause you some overheating it would still cool but not even as effective as a 50/50 mixture. You can get away with a 70/30 mixture but I only recomend that if your car is exposed to some really cold temperatures otherwise 50/50 is best efficient mixture. Also i've started to use the distilled water when I replace my radiators for the reason of not having the minerals normal tap water has that clogs up a radiator over time and making it less efficient. Also the fail safe thermostats I like them too it can really save you alot of trouble becasue if it fails wide open you will not overheat your engine and won't be stranded on the side of the road. I always like to put quality parts into my cooling system because an overheat can really hurt your engine especially all the cars without a temp gauge you find out your car is overheating right as the steam rolls out and then your dummy light comes on.
