Inappropriate things in cars....
american_revolution_2005 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in The Lounge
I have seen I biker looking guy driving a Corolla. I have also seen a tuned up Honda Civic hatchback like a 97 and we were behind it at the traffic lights and we read the badges. He had Escalade badges on a Civic that wasnt painted so all of the parts were different body colours. My dumbass sister also decided to put HEMI badges on our 2004 Tahoe. -
Your Most Favorite Car from Olds....

66 Toronado 70 442 1st gen Aurora -
Our GM dealers have gotten better business since this came out. Our town is full of old junkers. So far, some of the cars gone to Car Heaven was a 77 AMC Concord, 79 Caprice, a couple of Chevettes, a 88 Toronado I believe as well as some others. They mainly get GMs because they are past customers who still want to buy something.

The 2nd one is a showroom floor edition. They are fully stock and in 1/18th scale. I bought a Dodge Magnum and it was that edition. They are fully stock and they also made a Charger as well. The Bigtime Muscles are cheaper and easier to find but they do wreck the cars with big wheels and big exhaust tips etc.

That is a nice Toronado as well. Great condition. I am still for the Eldo though.

My neighbour is crazy for Chevelles, etc. as well. He has a 1970 GTO but it is pretty sad looking. It sits in his garage. He hasnt driven it for 5 years as well. It is orange.

My dream car just showed up on ebay. Yes my modern dream car is the Charger SRT8 but I found the car in my sig. The black 67 Eldorado. Too bad I cant drive yet. Oh well, I am too young and I guess there is a reason it is a dream car. Here is the listing anyways. My Eldo

I love the snow. But of course I live in Canada, eh. We all live in igloos up here, lol. I cant believe some people think we live in igloos, etc. My friend lived in Canada but moved to the US and he had classmates ask him if Canadians lived in igloos. He has a good sense of humour so he led them on.

Do you know these people? If you do, are they members of LXForums. It looks like they may be.

Has anyone else seen this before? The ImpalaZ SS. It looks kind of like a Nomad. I like it though. ImpalaZ SS

I voted DCX. DCX is actually my top brand even regarding GM. GM is second of course. For all of my life, it has been a battle between GM and Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. I loved Dodge's products but GM had times when it surpassed DCX for me. The GMT800 Sierra brought me back over to GM. I love them until the Ram came out with the new model. I loved are Dynasty as well. It lasted us 13 years until we finally got rid of it because we wanted something new. It was an 89 and it is still running strong today with 346,000 kms. Somebody we know bought it from us. Funny thing is, we still haven't seen any rust on the body. The only place is the undercarriage which is normal for vehicles anyways. We got a Concorde and it was great but we had it for 3 years when my dad needed an SUV for the winter.

We only have SUVs. The Expy and the Tahoe. My parents just commute in them. My mom does put tools in the back though because she is a carpenter. We go on occasional trips as well with about 6 people so we need the extra seats.

0% for 72 seems to be working here
american_revolution_2005 replied to Northstar's topic in The Lounge
Why didn't Canada get this event. The Chevy dealer near me has sold nothing for maybe a month or two. This deal would have gotten my grandparents into a new Impala as well but now they are waiting for the 07s even though there is one for $23k CAN by their house. It is very low equipped but that is what they want. This event may have also gotten us in a new vehicle. My dad probably would've traded in his Expy. -
XLR-V and Escalade at Slessor Motors
american_revolution_2005 replied to 97regalGS's topic in Cadillac
You would actually be surprised. Out in the Orangeville area, the XLR-V would sell. Our Dodge dealer has sold a few Vipers but they still have an 04 in the showroom. The Escalades have been selling like crazy in my area though. Our dealer has quite a few. -
BTW, PM me if you want to see pics.

My friends dad just bought an El Camino with a 396 Turbo Jet. This pickup is sweet. My friend says that it is his dad's new child lol. He isnt happy because his dad wont let him drive it.

Adam Sandler in Click
american_revolution_2005 replied to american_revolution_2005's topic in The Lounge
I loved the neighbour talking about the stereo system in the Cadillac. We have a Bose, what do you have? And then Adam Sandler was saying that the little kid was saying his stereo system blows. The Impala has a Bose stereo system doesn't it? -
I went to see the movie Click this weekend. It was a very good movie but it wasn't too much of a comedy. This was the most serious part I have seen Adam Sandler play in a movie. The first bit is funny but then the movie starts to get really serious. It actually makes you realize life better. It gives a good message and Christopher Walken plays a good part as well. I would say this is a must see movie. The Cadillac Sixteen concept even makes an appearance in the movie. Lucky Adam Sandler. He got to drive it, lol.

2nd place!!! I was expecting worse. Good job everybody and congrats to you Bearrunner44! -
Thanks!

It is the rear of the Chevy SS Concept.
-
You are saying you are too young lol.
-
This car isn't that bad. It should look much better in person as do all vehicles. The Nav is apparently touch screen as well. The Avenger would be my choice though. The Avenger looks much better and like a Charger. I would expect to see the Dodge Avenger at LAIAS probably.

Yep, look one page before.
