  1. I am NOT a whore. And from what I have heard it's six of one half dozen of another. The Toyota dealership across the steet might do better than us on occassion but they also have MORE salesman so your slice of the pie is smaller....
  2. I hear Michael Jackson used to blow Bubbles....
  3. space balls
  4. Nick: I'm 28. But it's funny how my tastes are that of a baby-boomer.
  5. the edge is not bad looking for a Ford, but that's not saying much. I'd go with the Vue or the CX7.
  6. I dropped $40.00 on Gulf-87 in the B-59 & got just over 13 gallons, you do the math.
  7. not working 4 me either...
  8. I've heard many a tool song but ont that one. To me Tool is like a modern day AC;DC in that most of their songs sound very simillar.
  9. Timaland/Nelly Furtado/Timberlake "Give it to Me" Addictive song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yei5jFdyCFo On a side note Screaming Trees, WTF is up with the sig.? It's creepy.
  10. Thank God I live in the USA.
  11. I saw the real thing... but I also bought the dover white/hugger orange edition of this car. And shortly after I bought it I dissasembled it, heated up an exacto knife and cut out the rear 1/4 windows to give it the TRUE pillarless hardtop look. Once reassembled it looked WAY better, esp. in profile where you can see through the grreenhouse.
  12. Wow... that sux.
  13. Yes... but I'm not complaining, I get to sell TWO of my favorite GM brands instead of just one. I'm so damn old I got to sell Pontiacs AND Chevys off the same showroom back in the day.
  14. You do NOT ucfk with American's V8s.
  15. There is NO way that no harm results from a motor that knocks. Today's motors have tight specs. & tolerances, the bearings, valve-trains, cams etc. do not appreciate a motor that knocks, if you constantly fill up with regular you can bet your apples that you will get inferior, cheap, watered down fuel from time to time and your motor will get dirty & knock. That's my theory.
  16. Yes Moltar, of course that's true but you will NEVER see me sell Hon-Duhs or Toy-Oh-Durs.
  17. Damn.... I love it! I remember doodling 4dr 911 Turbos in highschool in the mid 1990s. Now THAT would be a neat car.
  18. As I sit here at the dealership in the main showroom full of Chevrolet & Cadillacs I think to myself, whatever the heck happened to the DEATH of the V8? We've got about 28 cars here and more than HALF of them are powered by a V8s. Silverado, Trailblazer, two STS V8s, one STS-V, SRX-V8, XLR, XLR-V, 3 Escalades, 2 DTS, Impala SS, Trailblazer SS, Avalanche, 'Burban, Monte Carlo SS, not to mention upstairs on the second floor showroom we have seven Corvettes, 2 of them Z06s powered by the 7.0 liter LS7! And before you ask how many V8s are actually on the lot I'll jump the gun and tell you the "over half are V8s" rule applies. We've got rows & rows of hot selling Tahoes, Suburbans, Silverados, Silverado classics, Express Vans, several more Impala SS & a couple Monte SS as well as most of the Cadillacs being V8 powered... (all of our inventory of SRXs is No.Star powered) Not to mention the Lexus GS430 we took in trade the other day, 3 used Vettes, one used XLR, and all kinds of other used inventory powered by 8 pistons like an ugly Sequoia or one of several Rams. I think it is safe to say that modern fuel injection and DOD has made the future of the V8 more secure than it has been in a half century when inline six motors were being dropped by divisions who wanted an ALL-V8 lineup. Thoughts...? Where is Evok anyway?
  19. I would ALWAYS run the recomended fuel. The diff is pennies a day. Let's assume 89 costs $3.09 & Regular costs $2.99 (realistic here) so for every gallon you burn off you're spending an extra $0.10, which means if you drive 15,000 miles a year and get 15mpg then you will spend an extra $100 a year. Is that not well worth it to NOT fu*& up your motor...?
  20. Given the choice of having to work O.T., eat Mac&Cheese & SELL my classic or just keep my classic, avoid payments & have a neat daily driver for a second car while avoiding financial distress I think you know which one I would pick. I've formulated a plan for the next few months and it includes getting a cheap daily driver, like $700 - $1500 cheap. These are the three top picks right now: 1. Diesel Mercedes from the early 1980s, preferably a 5-speed 2. RWD Cadillac. Preferably a hardtop with a 500 & white interior. 3. Diesel pickup, with a stick P.S. almost forgot to mention that if at all possible NONE of the above, but I will order a Duramax Diesel powered rollback truck and quit the car business to persue my dream of owning my own Classic Car shipping company. Seriously.
  21. Hmmmm... wish I could get financed on that Grand Natty. Or for that matter I wish I could get financed on that MINT!!! 1972 Lincoln Continental Mk4 that I saw at the Endicott Estate & Kimball Farms car shows that the old gentleman is selling... asking price? $4500. Looks EXACTLY like this one:
  22. Amazing how a glued in rear window & super thick B-pillar *&$@s up those classic lines & dilutes the concept for me!
  23. God I hope not, otherwise you're not doping something right... The Camaro concept, my B-59 & a White Diamond EXT combined are still no match for getting hot & naked with the girl you love.
