  1. This kind of recycling should be done more often for the poor folk and cost savings. I thik the next gen. Maxima should be a rebadged current gen. Infiniti M35/M45. Who the hell buys an automatic Jetta? it always amazes me how people buy cars with small 4-bangers with small four bangers and go for the auto. The complete lack of hp & torque combined with an auto means you get a car that is less fun to drive than anything else I can imagine.
  2. Best looking car in it's class by FAR! Honestly my GM bias aside, that's how I feel. The only cars that even come close are the G6 and Aura. The new Altima is lame, and the new mid sizers are all freaky. The Avenger chops I've seen were not too bad but the Sebring and the new Granada tripplets are all lame IMHO. I will throw out one complaint that struck me almost immediately when I saw this: the hood is remeniscent of late 50's Fords in terms of size: not much access it looks like. Seems to be a new trend... petite hoods on not so petite cars. This wil turn out to be a PITA when it comes to maintenence. i'd rather see a clamshell like the MINI's versus this.
  3. Anyone...?
  4. Holyoke huh...? Not exactly the crime captal of our fine state but theft does happen everywhere. How was it stolen?
  5. VW can make the Phaeton but Opel can't have a ZETA? Why not? Europeans are not all poor you know....
  6. Screw that.. transverse motros SUX! Make the next Pacifica a taller Magnum with a a litle more ride height. I'll take the LX platform anyday over the lame minivan chassis.
  7. Vector W8
  8. Yeah.. thought you might like that. That Crane-Simplex is awsome.
  9. I go through cars & truck slike underwear and I usualy buy & sell locally through the WANT-AD so this happens quite often. There was one time that it was kind of weird... a bizzare coincidence. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...wtopic=1430&hl= (My white/white/blue '87 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance)
  10. Ruxton (1929 specimen)
  11. This is like the only 1970s car I've ever seen in my life that I'd trade straight up for my 1964 Super 88.
  12. Agreed O.B. The Chrysler BEFORE the work began: Kind of modern for a 1958 Mopar... Pretty cool stance! Put the glass back in and let's go to N.E.D. All Viper mechanically, it looks much more elegant with the body ON! Quite the rear end to show to unsuspecting Porsche 911s & Ferrari 360s.
  13. I wish I could be rich enough to not have to accomplish even ONE task in 15 years. Axl needs to come to grips with reality.
  14. Saw this link in my newest issue of Car Craft. http://fastlane.gmblogs.com/archives/Camar...ne_Ringtone.mp3 Now how the hell do I download it to my CELLY-phone?
  15. Ehhh... no color in the car's paintjob.... indoor lighting on a car that is supposed to be outside. Chop 4 sure!
  16. Bjork music video featuring a white 1963 Oldsmobile 4dr hardtop. It might be a Super 88. (sound familiar?) Perhaps it's a Starfire? ... I can't tell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp-F6hKStc4...related&search= The crazy Broad jumps on the trunk like it's a flippin' useless Camry.
  17. I wouldn't hold my breath, but it is on an ASAP basis.
  18. Funny but lame.
  19. Wow... 3-for-3 in the GM fleet dept. Welcome!
  20. Wow! pics?
  21. Hmmm... is that MIL error an attempt to get some more $$$ out of clueless toyota owners? As far as the failing rear axle beam on So. African Toyotas, it reminds me of the Ford Focus recall where a few had their rear suispension fall off at highway speeds. Even MORE proof taht newer is NOT always better. Have you ever heard of a 1920s-1980s solid rear axle just falling off without waring leaving you with 50% of your wheels missing at highway speeds? Neither have I. Yeah taht's cause the old school $hit may not have 12% of MPG #s or "feel better" but it WORKS! Can you imagine how the Press would ROAST and slander GM if this kind of safety fu**up occured on a GM vehicle? They'd be out for blood.
  22. Beautiful. I think they're asking a little too much but if I had the money I would gladly pay it.
  23. Yup... very true! I also like mAssachusetts.
  24. Very cool post! Those crazy Russians jus need to move, that city is probably not worht saving if it's THAT out of the way. Ferkristsake! Don't talk to me about vertigo right now tough, hanging the Christmas lights this year was a major SNAFU. I had nothing but an old rickety wooden ladder & a contorted tree to work with. I saw my eyes flash before my life a few times when I was up there in the tree like some kind of spyder monkey. Still those dangerous roads call to me. Studded tires and a 6-speed WRX STi woulfd make quick and fun work of some of them. The Bolivian, Tibet/Bengladesh & russina Military roads all fascinate me. I'm quite the adrenaline junkey. wonder if there's any blown up German panzers & JU88s still lingering in those areas of Russia.
