  1. 1. What year does the Fiero project date back to? What was it's original name and what project proceeded it? 1975... forget the name but the Banchee preceded it. 2. Besides the Art & Science cues in the Cadillac Sixteen concept, what other car influenced the concept's design? Uh... 1930s Cadillac V16 Coachbuilt cars 3. The four-cylinder engine in the 1982 Chevrolet S-10 and GMC S-15 compact trucks was shared with what car? In 1985, what engine replaced it? Iron Duke replaced it... was it the 2.2 OHV? 4. What platform was the Chevrolet Beretta based on? What was the name of it's Canada-only counterpart? N or something like that... & the Pontiac Acadia... or was it Tempest? 5. The name of the Chrysler LeBaron predecessor was...? (Hint: Plynouth had a car with the same name a few years later.) what years are we talking about? LeBaron was an Imperial before it was a Chrysler... 6. The Chevrolet Celebrity's predecessor was...? Malibu... or was it considered the Citation? 7. What car revived Olds's infamous Vista Roof? What was the year? Name the platform. 1988 Olds Cutlass Supreme 4dr... but it was a sedan NOT a hardtop. 8. The Cadillac Series 62 was renamed what in what year? (Hint: Olds has had a car of the same name, if I'm not mistaken.) 1976 9. What car influenced the 1991 Chevrolet Caprice redesign? Cadillac Solitare 10. True or False: For 1982, Chevrolet had a Monte Carlo Turbo model. false
  2. Citroen built THEIR first FWD car in 1934.... THE first FWD car was built long before that. One of the first notable ones was the 1929 Cord L29. Is this a retractable convertible hardtop or a true hardtop with no B-pillar but a fixed roof?
  3. Very nice combination of cars.... I don't like fire-engine red Chevelles since they're around every corner, baby-blue is still common but for some reason I've always loved baby blue on 60s Chevys. Looks great.
  4. IF GM can beat BMW, Honda & Toyota to market with a Hydrogen car they will be in a great position to recovery. Look at how much positive press the lame-a$$ed Prius got for Toyota, & that thing still burns gas... less gas but still not a Zero-Emissions.

    ...

Why bother with V6s when DOD V8s deliver similar fuel efficiency with much better power & smooth, silky ease? I like the port holes but god dang I still hate the nose of the LaCrosse... it looks so damn "1997".
  6. Usonia: That quote in your sig... "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup." shouldn't it be: "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with sweet & sour sauce." or "Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with duck sauce."
  7. I wish I could register the domain www.FWDSUX.com
  8. Been there, done that. In my opinion it's like 40% bull$hit & 60% therapy though just the process of getting your feelings out. Me & the G/F are seeing a family counselor right now once a week since we're at each other's throats a little too much. "No Honey, of course I don't love the Super 88 more than you"
  9. I'd expect more of classic Buick owners. 1964 Skylark... would that still have a 215?
  10. Which reminds me... WTF not make a modern Mopar Slant Six? DCX?
  11. Do I have to write yet another letter telling HotWheels to cast a 1997 McLaren F1, 1959 Buick flattop & 1960 Dodge Phoenix?
  12. yeah... you've got us hooked, not where's this all going?
  13. V75 Liquid Tire "Chain" - An option on '69 Camaros that provided a dispenser with nozzles located in the rear tire wheel wells that would spray a special traction-enhancing liquid on the rear tires to help traction on snow and ice. Quite rare. The 1969 Camaro was the only model year to have headlight washers. The system was operated by vacuum much like windshield washers. The headlight washers were included with all Rally Sports and could be purchased separately as RPO-CE1
  14. Bitchin' Chevelle! What doews she run in the 1/4 mile? Is that a GM car in the garage... the gray thing? Gives me a late-'60 B/O/P vibe but I can't put my finger on it.
  15. Why is BMW the only car manufacturer to "get it" about inline sixes? GM should drop the I6 into a few Zetas as the standard motor... too bad the thing is so damn tall.
  16. FX is much better looking but the Murano is alright.
  17. This car was one of the first mass produced vehicles to have headlight washers. The headlight washers came optional if you ordered the optional headlights & appearance pkg. Also in the same model year this vehicle had an optional "liquid tire chain" feature which was short lived but very revolutionary iin its day. What car/model year am I talking about?
  18. SuperSixty4 has a nice ring to it... as does SuperEighty8. And yes... you guys got it.
  19. The Royale is the O.G. of Tweny-Fo's
  20. A 5th gen. ZL1 Camaro with power windows would be lame... I want a 5th gen. with the LS7 & a 6-speed manual. AC, CD player & fog lights will be the only options I'll get.
  21. Fly: exageration for effect...
  22. If by total package you mean a luxury car with a transverse mounted DOHC motor with femenine styling.... you'll still be able to buy Acuras & the Lexus ES once GM finally drops the axe on the head of the Lecerne & DTS. The 300C is very in your face & all about Bling-BLING, you're right about that but then again a 1935 Duesenberg & 1933 Cadillac V16 were both all about the bling in their day and they're going for a lot more $$$ than a LaSalle or Buick. Subtlety is over rated!
  23. That annalogy is retarded... power windows have no bearing on safety or the ability to steer/stop/operate a car. NO harm is giving the option for crank windows on cars where it makes sense... I'd prefer crank windows on my Datsun if given the chance since it's a beater and I hate slow power windows. The 5th Camaro? Well... it's a hardtop so I'll take power for ease of rolling down all four.
  24. What forgoten Automotive Manufacturer, based out of St.Louis, used this as their marketing slogan after they lowered their prices to a more reasonable level at $1500 to $2000? HINT: They existed for just under a 1/4 century.
