  1. Just my ignorant opinion: Nissan is a better brand than most, and it's got a decent amount of RWD/V8 cars so they're not evil like Honda or a lot of other brands that are sharpening their claws *cough, toyota COUGH-cough* so let me just say that I think a partnership with Nissan & Renault might not be the worst thing, and perhaps it might be a beautiful thing. I think the Chrysler 300C & Dodge Charger are proof enough that in 2006 foreigners appreciate what American cars should be better than most Americans who think the Avalon is a great full size sedan and the Ridgeline is a pickup truck. :twocents:
  2. Yes... I think everyday abotu the many men & women overseas who are dealing with heat, language barriers, old equiptment & missing their families only to have a tragedy end their life or make them handicaped. War is col in video games, not real life. ------ People who run over an animal on purpose are scumbags.... Don't caue a head on collision to avoid a squirel but at the same time make an attempt to swerve out of the way if it's possible. The other day I swerved slightly on an empty road to place a Chipmunk in between the track of the Q45.... he lived to see another day.
  3. Economics should not play into this... if a C&G member is driving a FWD car becasue they're in College and or bought a commuter car or economy car that's FWD but they really WANT a RWD car much more than any FWD one then they're in. I was once in College driving my parent's FWD cars dreaming of 1968 Firebirds & 1971 Monte Carlos. Dude, that's awsome. Why didn't you mention you drive an oil burner GMC? Is it a 5-speed? That would eb the ULTIMATE.
  4. Whatever you're up to have fun. See you when you get back.
  5. Back when the MB-Chrysler merger happened I predicted that within a decade we'd see each of the big three join up with a European counterpart: Chrysler + Daimler Benz Ford + BMW GM + VW/Audi/Porsche These days I'd rather see a partnershop with BMW all the way!
  6. Sounds pretty potent for a 305, how fresh is that paint? Looks like a mirror, I love sunset shots.
  7. I love Cadillac but I agree CARBIZ, it's a shame that Mopars of the 50s 60s & 70s only sold a small percentage of GMs stuff. Bakc then GM had a grip on the marketplace like Toyota does today, before you roast me for that I'm just talking about market share not quality, styling innovation or performance. Back in the 50s and 60s GM was on top of their game from everything to engineering to styling to marketing. Toyota got where they are more on luck and perfect timing but GM had to work for it from the 1920s to the 1960s... then between the safety crusaides, enviroment movement & gas prices the big three got F***ed. I've always loved Mopars of the mid 50s to the early 70s, but in the past few years I've become more and more drawn to them. Esp. some of the Imperials & other hardtops landyachts.
  8. I think the Sig. says it all... if GM has to partner up with someone, thank God it's not Honda, Toyota or the Koreans. Even VW would piss me off. ------------- 1968 Camaro Hardtop -- 377 horsepower -- 13.9 sec. @ 103 mph -- SOLD "Buy what you want. Fix what you can. And remember, if you had all of the money that you've spent on cars, you would spend it all on cars." -Kurt"Wolfgang"Peterson Fayetteville N.C.
  9. Yes, very true... ice, fog, heavy rain... they're much more dangerous than snow, it's just that so many people are pu$$ys these days when it comes to snow for some stupid reason, I'd rather drive through snow than through a wet road wiht a slick oil covered surface.
  10. I think the Signature says it all! Rear-Drive Mafia sounds good to me. I'd love to have the domain www.RWD.com for a blog, but it's taken. ------------ 1968 Camaro Hardtop -- 377 horsepower -- 13.9 sec. @ 103 mph -- SOLD "Buy what you want. Fix what you can. 11. BTW: What's up with the Ritz Carlton Keychain?
  12. Awww Yeahhh Boyyy!!! Ya Knaw it.
  13. Even though I own two Datsuns I did not vote Nissan/Infiniti. I voted Mopar but in all honestly it's a toss up between the following five brands: - Porsche - BMW - Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep - Nissan/Infiniti - Mercedes Benz
  14. Here you go GM1: let me know if you'd like me to make a 3rd or change anything on these ones.
  15. That second one is like sceene from some video game. Love to see that Caprice H.O. floating down the road on that long hood... like the mascot on the front of a "Tall Ship".
  16. Wow... Goodl Luck withat that Variance, Congrats. BTW: Last night I got a flat in my right rear on the Q45 right outside of Stafford Conn. Are you anywhere close to Hartford?
  17. Wow... file that in the Bizzare News Files with Bobbit & Michael Jackson.
  18. What was Suzuki supposed to amount to? GOOD! Thank God. Fiats Suck.
  19. That Viagra Hyundai should be listed on eBay as Birth Control. Wait, so let me get this straight... you drive an Hyundai & you have problems sporting a hard-on? I'll be in touch about that second date... Now as far as that Buick Estate: Holy Mother og Jehova, that is like a urban legend of some sort, what ever is the story behind that car? ------------ A link to the super cool Slanty Tail light equiped Isuzu Bellel: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Isuzu-Belle...sspagenameZWDVW Anything 1965 with diesel power is COOL in my book. O.B. You are a funny b@$tard.
  20. Cool, I like the excerpt. It's very important to KNOW your terminoligy & subject when writing something this deep. Seems like you've got a good handle on things. Some of the dialogue is a bit over my head but that's probably a good thing in that it doesn't talk down to the audience.
  21. One more: a 1971 Imperial LeBaron 4-door hardtop (by Chrysler) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1663352536569974520 Kind of reminds me of like the Mopar that would have been built if Germany had won WWII. This thing is weird, cool & intimidating at the same time. Those Imperial Eagles, imposing script & over the top space age fuselage styling reminds me of something crazy modern (for 1971) and over-engineered just like a Benz and yet it has 4.6 extra inches on a Electra 225 in overall length! The video does a nice job of showing off the car's amazing styling. 5500lbs. of spaceship.
  22. Ha-ha ha! BV's at exactly 4,444 posts. S#it, wait that's less than my post count... I gotta get out more.
  23. I know I feel bad too... people who make seven figures while their employer is loosing billions break my heart. Poor Ricky. :AH-HA_wink:
  24. Speaking of that WhyTF is there not a 3rd pedal option for the XLR???
