Yeah like two 1980s AMCs, a 1977 Cutlass Supreme, 1968 Camaro & a 1984 Datsun. I'm 2.7 miles south of the Nashua N.H. line. Small world. I got the car running today. Guess what? The fuel leak is NOT near the rear axle... it's right by the carb. How do I know? The effin thing caught fire and I had to call the Fire Dept. I almost burned down half the yard! I'm in the middle of a 3,000 piece mailer project and there's more work coming so I got to go for now.

BAD NEWS: While we were running around looking at houses today we got a call that the Q45t sold for $12,400 cash this morning. The bitch of it was that we were 95% done wiht the paperwork bull$hit at the local credit union. Well, either way I guess it was not meant to be. GOOD NEWS: We put an offer in on a gorgeout House in central Massachusetts. It does not have a garage but there's plenty of property where one could be built. MORE GOOD NEWS: After we buy a house, as in after closing and once everything is 100% all set with the mortgage I think we will buy a Cobalt. But better still, I convinced Marcia that the Supercharged SS is a great value and we should try to cough up the extra $100/month or so in payments so we can get all the extra goodies. I'd be very happy with an SS coupe for $19,995 BUT she's insisting on a sunroof. I'm not into bull$h! options like that and see no real benefit in a sunroof but hell, if she doesn't mind blowing $700 on another useless item then so be it. I want a yellow one though! That I do not want to budge on.

I have never heard this but it makes my %$*@# blood boil!!! :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: WTF!? to THIS day GM does not have a product that would have lost sales to a Caprice from some other comapny making the B-body! God GM sometimes I just want to kick your effin ass!!! Not as much the shape as the mechanicals and over all concept. The Super Nova almost saw the lght of day as a production car but in 1964 it was thought that 4 model lines for Chevrolet was already too many. The Full Sizers (Biscayne, Bel Air & Impala), Chevelle, Corvair & Chevy II made four, the Corvette was the fith platform. The powers that be at Chevy said no more new models.

I'd get both if I could afford it, BUT ABS will have more day to day practical uses than LSD. Unless you're drag racing & such the LSD is NOT a hughe benefit. Plus, it takes more responsibility and skill to not wipe out wiht LSD... once you start doing the 360 dance with LSD you're fu$ked. On ice, snow & sand you have to be extra carefull with LSD.

IN any case I think we can all agree that it beats the $h! out of any V-tech ever made! The Ecotech has earned high praises from everyone including V8-centric Car Craft & Hot Rod. It's a bitchin little motor. Anyone who knows how pushrod V8 obsessed I am knows that I'm not a Four banger kind of guy but I love the ecotech!

He's funny in a Ben Stein kind of way, my vote for unsexiest man of the century goes to Ron Jeremy. Ewww!

The cars all belong to my neighbor Brad. It's a long story involving a family feud, an asshole brother-in-law and a death in the family. For the past two years I've been living here I have been staring at the Coupe Deville and daydreaming of it in flat black with the red grille backlight like in my old Fleetwood Brougham. The car is for sale for $1500 OBO, I happento know that Brad will take $1000 if the person seems like the restoration type and not some deuchebag who would demolition derby it. He knows he can trus me to sell it to the right owner. It MIGHT run if the fuel lines are done but tough to tell. The car has some serious ROT that you can not see in these photos. The SX/4 he wants to keep and the Concorde is a parts car for it. The SX was owned since new by a Midget lady so the seat is raised about 8" so she could see over the dashboard. Seriously! I'm tempted to sell my Camaro, buy the Caddy & drive the wheels off of it in the next few summers and then part it out on ebay when it's not safe to drive anymore... like when the trunk and rear quarters fall off on the highway. Flat balck it would make a sick ride! This, for those of you who do not remember my '86 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, was waht I';m talking about:

Balthazar: Is that a mummy in your Avatar or a starving Marvin? Back in 2000 I met a wonderful chick. She was cute, funny, outgoing and she was a die hard Bruins fan. I was coming back from a late afternoon class at Suffolk University and struck up a conversation w/ her when we met on the train since she had a Bruins hat & Jersey on. We hit it off pretty well and when we got to Haverhill it was pouring cats & dogs. So I asked her if she needed a ride home since she was planning on walking the 1.5 miles or so. She said yes and when IO dropped her off she gave me her number without me having to even twist her arm. At the time I was hanging out with my buddy Alex like every damn day. He was bored with his marrige and miserable so I was always coerced into coming over and chillin in his apartment. Two months later, after Alex (my best friend at the time BTW) telling me to take it easy and not rush into a relationship wiht her I found out he had hooked up with her when she satarted blowing me off at the EXACT same time as her. I stayed friends with both of them and got more and more depressed as I became the constant fith wheel to their relationship. Alex was not a gentleman about it either. Two years later a combination of my relationship wiht Marcia being on the rocks and Alex having moved down to Virginia without the girl in question (Julie) I made a mistake and hooked up wiht her and cheated on Marcia. Only later did I realise I did it more out of revenge than any good reason. I still had feelings for Julie but it was obviously not going anywhere with her. For a while the sex was good and then it all blew up in my face. Even though Alex did nto even consider them to be togeater he feels that I betrayed him. Well, needless to say he's out of my life and I only email Julie once in a while so as not to piss off Marcia or give her any reason to suspect any wrong doing which will never happen again. So yeah... I've been there done that. THe one good thing that came out of it was that I realised what a jerk Alex is and no longer consider him a true friend.
