  1. 04 Monte: It's cool... I'm not going anywhere. Mean time check out this crash:
  2. Anyway, back to the topic at hand: Too wide to post: http://www.desktopextreme.com/photos/Chrys...551234PM353.jpg
  3. WTF!?!?!? SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE FIRED OVER THIS!!!
  4. Good, time to even the playing field. No one likes a cheater.
  5. Yes... let's hope as time goes on they get even more rare. I'm a fan of saving almost any unique car from the crusher but a DelSol Automatic can be recycled into Budweiser cans with no sweat off my back. If I ever find one I'll buy it and demolition derby it like my Volvo & 626 & Escrot & Anal-Probe... I love the 2nd gen CRX, probably my favorite Honda of all time and I wish they had evolved it into a Mini Cooper S fighter instead of a pseudo-ragtop wannabe sports car thing wiht the engine & drive wheels in the wrong place.

  8. I have neither the time or energy to invest into following all the newest developments with GM in this vein... It's more complex than the female orgasm but in any case I'll say this: This Jim Jubak guy seems to have an axe to grind. Is this about GM or is this about his hatered for GM?
  9. $300 million nhuh? Isn't that like 0.02% of how much they need to return to profitability? The Duramax Diesel Technology would make the partnership worth just holding on to instead of dumping, I would think anyway.
  10. Three ZL1 Corvettes were produced, all 1969MY. Two were official and sold for like $12K+ at a time when a loaded up Vette was $7000. One was dover white and the other daytona yellow. Both have had colorfull histories and live on today. The yellow one was sold at a police auction at one point for like $440,000 IIRC and the white one resided in Otis Chandler's personal collection for some time. They can and would, kick the Camaro ZL1's ass. It's all about weight to power ratio and the Vette wins that war. Plus it's much more aerodynamic and a 2 seater. It's an apples to oranges comparison. No one gets bent out of shape because the Charger SRT8 does not smoke the Viper SRT10.
  11. C'mon now, stop it with the doom and gloom. GM is not going anywhere. The Camaro WILL be better than the Mustang. 95% of the past 40 years that the Camaro has been around it has out-performed, out-handled & just about humiliated the Mustang in most categories. The 5.0 was as close to the Mustang having an edge over the Camaro as they got. The Camaro has almost always had better styling, it was based off a better chassis & had more flexible engines (hellooooo SBC) and with the help of the Firebird has usually managed to out-do the Mustang in the bang/$ ratio. That having been said the Mustang has come a long way in the past three decades. Considering in 1976 we had the Mustang II today's Rustang is a exotic by comparison. Even in the dark days the Camaro managed to maintain some of its dignity. The Firebird was the only car that survived the 1970s wiht its ego mostly intact. So in summary if the past is any indication the Camaro will be a true hardtop, it will out handle and out acccelerate the Mustang and provide much of the same fun factor at a better value. The 3rd and 4th gen cars were great but this next 5th gen is going to be a return to greatness for the Camaro. Just seing the concept and the mechanicals of the concept proves that IMHO.

  13. Any time me and XP are bored and my G/F has some Lifetime movie on we go on these random roadtrips just to burn gas and blast the tunes. Last night we drove around in Boston for like 4 hours in the Q45. At one point we were at an intersection with a bunch of college kids hanging around and some dork on a baby blue Vespa and we had the sunroof & windowns down while we balsted (at full volume on the Bose System) AC~DC Back In Black. Sometimes it's fun to force people to listen to your music, esp. since I'm forced to listen to that fast-beat micro-machine-announcer-guy quick spanish music at every intersection in Lowell. That or the Cambodian music which is even more bizzare to my Semi-ethno-centric ears. I'll post some funny photos soon of our adventures.
  14. I thouhgt I smelled something. Where's the douche?
  15. And it's good for your health too.
  16. Did you know Phil Collins can't spin a drumstick?
  17. Nice car... should sell well. Here's my gripe: GM pu$$ied out again on a manual trans. I don't want paddles or freekin' semi-manual trans. If you're going to do something do it right. A europens style sports-sedan wannabe without a clutch pedal is pointless. It's like the punchline to a European joke about us clueless Americans.
  18. Wow... first the Sky and now this!? Saturn is starting to suck a lot less all of a sudden. Am I seeing things or is this a hardtop? It looks like a hardtop since the only remenance of a B-pllar is weatherstripping on the rear windows... but if they half assed it and the window does not roll down that would be pretty stupid. Looks like there's plenty of room in the rear 1/4 panel to swallow up the rear side glass.
  19. Thanks Nick. WMJ: I think those rear tires would be about as useful in putting down 455 style power as a fork is useful when you're eating Chicken Soup.
  20. Neat post. Glad to hear they didn't get it stuck in an EPA Superfund Swamp on the way.

  22. Thanks again guys... Dsuupr: Happy Birtday buddy, I get dibs on the 9C1 this weekend. SpeedingPenguin: Yeah.... that party was about one dead hooker away from being Rock-N-Roll Band smashing furniture in a Ritz Carlton while setting the bathtub full of J.D. on fire-tastic. Fly: Is that an '89 Accord DX automatic with Giovani-Kobra "Sling-shot Blade" 18 inch rims? Does it have the J478Xi motor or the JW81Y? I'd love to drop a 2J9Z turbo double- intercooled & blue-print unbalanced motor into that H. Then it'd be a 10sec. car for sure!
  23. Very cool. I love the unconvetional & out-of-the-box factor.
  24. Do I hear a Motley Crue song playing?
