I think $40,000 is the cut off poitn for me at which a V6 no longer is acceptable. Not a natrually aspired V6 that is pretty unimpresive. The NSX is just really a better executed Fireo from a better time period & for way more money.

Yes.... in an article discussing the '04 GTO about two years ago he was asked if the Firebird might ever make a reappearance in the Pontiac lineup and he said "perhaps in another 30 years" referring to the three decade hiatus the GTO had. This is the same article where he said that the GTO will be a permanent flagship model for Pontiac from now on. Last time I menationed this quote I got roasted like a leg of lamb.

Reg: I could not have said it better myself. The M45 and Q are cars worthy of the Luxury & Presteige implied by their price, unlike the RL. Damn Tripod... here's a "Sprocket". I'm patiently awaiting some pictures of that ME V6 garbage that is refered to as a "poor man's exotic" yet gets spanked by the cheaper Corvette.

Just being honest. I think Honda & Toyota are in a dead heat for the most over rated and over-glorified car manufacturers of all time. Let's take a short trip down memory lane and remember Honda/Acura's most interesting/influencial models.

Nice, very New England. Too bad it would cost about $900,000 in my town. There is something about your brain patterns that I find to be close to perfection. I'd love to own one of those houses in the paintings of abandoned classics that they sell at swap meets and car shows. A house full of "priceless junk". Edlebrock manifolds for Flatheads, vintage Cragar rims, Bonneville Trophies from the 50s, 1964 Buick Riviera emblems and LS6 heads lying around the house on coffee tables made of crate motor shiping crates. A 1950s GMC wrecker half way dissasembled in the living room while a '59 Pontiac wiht a cadillac 500 & dana rear end passes for a "daily driver" in the frint yard. Too bad we have G/Fs and wifes to get in the way of the true masculine way of life. Red meat and gasoline mix so well. Best I could find.
