  1. Wow.... looks awsome. Much better than our Lacrosse or even Lucerne for that matter. Love the stand up hood ornament. It has some obious borrowed styling cues from Nissan, Infiniti & Acura but it still looks good.
  2. Dust Devil
  3. Remember that term "Hiatus" we kept hearing from 2001 to 2005 every time corporate was asked about the Camaro?
  4. Another Caddy Fleetwood Brougham? Elegence, style & luxury Yes, it has it all!
  5. BMW? Why not? Inline sixes are oh-so sweet RWD and stick
  6. Guilty as charged! I'm coming out though.
  7. Now that we have a '67-'69-retro Camaro concept and a production car headed for showrooms I say ANYTHING is possible! [/optimistic/naive/enthusiastic]
  8. [trademark 68 tangent] Looking at your avatar I'm wondering if you have seen Devil's Rejects yet? Even more twisted than House of a 1000 Corpses IMHO. :AH-HA_wink:
  9. Yeahm really... when a post whore like yourself dissapears for like 4 days we all start to get worried. I thought you might have rolled the ATV down a casm and onto yourself. Dids you have to cut your arm off with a Swiss-Army knife like that guy in Colorado?
  10. Gordini, Renault (XP is going to kill me for that...)
  11. I so very desperately want to keep my next purchase RWD, the practicality of what is available out there in the real world in the classified ads and on ebay is a different story however. Empowah: Funny you should mention Audi A8... there's a loaded 2003 A6 4.2 on the local INfiniti dealer's lot. The salesman is super enthusiastic abotu even driving it out to ME so I can take a look at it. It's got 106K on it though. High miles combined wiht VW/Audi electronic gremlins scare me somewhat however. At presant the new desirablility standing are as follows: 1. Any 1994-1996 B-body I can get Marcia to like 2. 1997-2001 Infiniti Q45 (thanks Variance) 3. Any BMW wiht a 5-speed I can get Marcia to "settle" for. I had to meet with a client in Boston yesterday and while driving on Memorial drive at sunset and soaking up the gorgeous scenary that is Boston, I saw a 2003? Park Ave Ultra. SOmehow the fact that the car if FWD can not offset how GOR-GE-OUS it is. x 1,000,000. Too bad Marcia is such a wet blanket and will not consider one.
  12. Infiniti Q Forty Five Reasons why not One reason why yes!
  13. Why NOT have a 100% RWD division? And who better to go 100% RWD than Pontiac? I think this is an idea of the century. Give Chevroelt a RWD Camaro and Caprice and then keep the rest FWD for the point-A-to-B types, but make Pontiac the BMW fighter it has the potential of becoming. This is a fantastic idea! BTW: I4, I4T, V6 and V8 motors would obviously be all used, not just V8s.... no one said anything about a V8 only G6... it's not even big enough for any motor other than a modern 215. PLease explain. What about a beautifuly simple, fuel afficient pushrod-V8 from GM is so muhc more expensive than a V6 or even DOHC four cylinder for that matter?
  14. Wow... so they go to the tourble of making a V16 but can't design a body that does not look like a Chinese-Diablo. :AH-HA_wink: The most retarded thing of all is the transverse mounted placement of the V16. Yes I'm serious, & chain transfer case to the trans. http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/CizetaV16T/
  15. Drink lots of water, take a hot shower and turn the water to cold real quick while keeping your head in the stream of the water. The change from hot-to-cold is supposed to supress a Migrane smoehow, not a home remedy but something I was told back in college by a Prof. IIRC.
  16. tacky
  17. This is GM not Ford we're talking about. Sedan/Coupe names used on Minivans is one thing GM has not done yet, with the exception of the Lumina APV, but that was not a highly valued brand name to begin with. (Ford Fairlane, Mercury Monterey)
  18. Perhaps a rich person will be good enough to trade in a pearl-white 1997 Q45 with 70K miles at my local Infiniti dealer so I can buy it for $14,995.
  19. WMJ: I'm wearing a pair of satin white gloves & doing that Queen Mother clap right now! Here's one dedicated to Balthazar, XP & my best friend Duffy... the three peole who helped me to realize that deep down inside I want a '59 Buick more than any other car from any other era. Too bad I don;t live in a climate where it could be a daily driver. Buick fifty-nine Electra & Invicta LeSabre as well
  20. Monster
  21. Yeah because Corvettes are such slow sellers. :rotflmao: Actauly unlike this POS OVER-priced Acura the Corvette spanks most cars double its price, the Z06 makes chasing the NSX around a racetrack look like fishing with dynamite. BTW: Did I mention the first C6 Z06 sold out of Chevy of Lowell went for $7000 over MSRP?
  22. The worst part of the Bel Air concept is the placememnt of the grille. GM get's a F - minus for that!!! Take a look and tell me where a '55/'56/'57-retro Bel Airs' grille should be located. Not to mention the Camaro concept makes this car lok like a Chinese Sebring knock-off.
  23. It's only a matter of time before we have ZZ-top looking Truckers saying: Rollin' on Thirty-Fo's Gangsta Style! A'ight! :sign0200:
  24. So months ago I insist the GTO is not going anywhere, it's here to stay as Pontiac's flagship. I got told I was just being my usual obnoxious self... Later I read everywhere that the GTO was scraficed on the altar of performance so that we can see a 5th gen. Camaro become a reality. It does not make any sense to me but I think okay, perhaps I was wrong, shortly after I apologize. ....not too long after I admit I was wrong GM pretty much says I was right all along making me look like even more of an idiot. Should have stuck with my gut. Just like with the Camaro concept so many on here insisted would happen when Pigs Fly at the earliest. This is a crazy/frustrating/fun/nerve-wrecking/exciting time to be a GM enthusiast.
