    Rumorpile: Is There A 7-Series M Model On The Way

    BMW has long maintained there would be no M version of the 7-Series sedan, despite competitors offering a performance version of their flagship sedans. However, BMW could be changing their tune.

    Automobile Magazine has learned the next generation 7-Series could be seeing a sort of, kind of M7 called the M770i xDrive. The M770i xDrive will likely use a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 producing 475 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque. While those numbers sound impressive, the M770i xDrive pales in comparison to the V12 760i which comes with 570 HP and a 665 lb-ft of torque.

    But the M770i xDrive will be more agile than a 760i thanks to significant weight loss. The M770i xDrive will use carbon fiber on the roof, trunk, and hood. Other weight losses will come from lightweight seats, carbon-ceramic brakes, thin-wall exhaust, and lightweight 20-inch wheels.

    The M770i xDrive could arrive sometime in 2015.

    Who cares about a 475 hp V8 when they already have a 450 hp V8? Reduced weight would be nice, but then it should just be a 750i with an optional M-sport package. And part of the sport package could be the carbon fiber panels, and lightweight wheels, etc.

    Not to mention this car has a V12 already, which would still dominate an M770 with 100 less hp.

      Have to say that I have been thinking about what I want to replace the Escalade ESV with and of course at the top of my list is the Genesis GV90. Yet with Incompetence in DC, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia have delayed indefinitely all their new EVs while releasing them into the world globally where they are a huge success. The Genesis GV90 is delayed again for the world as they are now talking about early 2027 for production.   I have also thought that maybe a Scout would be nice, but until recently they have not confirmed if they are just using Rivian 400V system or truly going 800V. Today I checked and saw that three weeks ago they updated to confirm 800V system. Sadly they have been mum on if they will support AA / CP which Genesis will support. Figure I might just be in my Escalade another couple of years. Good thing it is in such good shape. This cracks me up that Pennsylvania never checked if their software would have a problem reading the new plates. How Funny!!! New license plate design has toll cameras malfunctioning across this state

      It is interesting how Americans and people outside the U.S. have started the #sendbarron social media tag. Americans rally behind #SendBarron, urge Trump’s son to enlist after U.S. strikes on Iran - Pattaya Mail I feel that they should also start the #BarronLoserTrump media tag since he is already using his height as an excuse to avoid military service when others have already done what he should do!
