    2017 Volvo S90 Gets Priced

      Plus, a new concierge service

Volvo has announced pricing for the 2017 S90 due to go on sale this summer with the base T5 Momentum starting at $47,945 and climbs all the way to $57,245 for the T6 Inscription AWD. Prices include a $995 destination charge. The T8's pricing will be announced at a later date.

The S90 T5 uses Volvo’s turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. T6 models come with a Twin-charged (super and turbocharged) four-cylinder with 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. All S90's come with an auto stop-start system, power seats with a memory function for the driver; backup camera and rear parking sensors; Volvo Sensus connectivity, sunroof, and adaptive cruise control with Pilot Assist semi-autonomous capability.

Volvo is also introducing the Volvo Concierge program. The concierge helps the buyer with ordering a vehicle, keeps them updated on where the vehicle is, and sets up the vehicle to the personal preferences of the buyer. At the moment, this program is only available on specific S90 models, the T6 AWD Momentum and T6 Inscription.

“We wanted to make the online experience more personalized. Cars are not your average online purchase. We believe luxury consumers of today will appreciate having a personal contact that helps you understand your options and the process,” says Lex Kerssemakers, President and CEO of Volvo Car USA in a statement.

Volvo Announces S90 Pricing and Introduces a new online car-buying experience

(NEW YORK) Volvo Car USA (VCUSA) announced pricing of the widely-praised S90 luxury sedan, which is available for order beginning today at Volvo retailers and volvocars.com/us.

The well-equipped S90 T5 Momentum will start at $46,950. The T5 turbo-charged Drive-E engine provides 250 horsepower. A rich leather interior is standard, as is the award-winning 9-inch Sensus touchscreen and “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights.

The S90 T6 AWD Momentum starts at $52,950. The 316 horsepower T6 turbo- and super-charged Drive-E engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. In addition to the standard features of the T5, the T6 also includes heated front seats, a large driver information display area and dual integrated tailpipes as standard.

The Volvo S90 will be the first car in the United States to offer Semi-Autonomous driving technology as standard. Volvo Pilot Assist allows the car to speed up, slow down, brake and steer at speeds up to 80 MPH.

Two world-first safety technologies will also come standard. Large Animal Detection with auto-brake senses deer, elk and other animals and will automatically stop the car to avoid or mitigate a collision. Run-Off Road Mitigation can detect if the vehicle is about to leave the road and gently steer it to prevent it from leaving the pavement. This technology is in addition to the safety, connectivity and interior luxury customers have enjoyed in the award-winning Volvo XC90 SUV.

    Volvo Online Concierge
With the S90 VCUSA is introducing the Volvo Concierge, a personalized online buying experience for the all-new sedan, via the Volvo website.

In addition to buying the all-new S90 at a Volvo Dealership, customers can also buy the S90 online, with the help of the Volvo Concierge who will provide an unprecedented level of online service and comfort throughout the purchase process. A designated Volvo representative ensures customers know about all of the S90’s available options and offers buyers the peace of mind to change their option preferences before their car is built.

The Volvo Concierge will stay in constant contact with the future S90 owner, notifying them of when the car has been shipped from Sweden and when it is expected to arrive. Upon delivery, all of the car’s settings, such as radio stations and software apps, can be configured based on the owner’s personal preferences. All Concierge processed cars will be delivered through a Volvo retailer of choice.

Available via online chat, email and phone calls, customers can contact the Volvo Concierge to address almost any need or desire with regard to an S90 purchase.

“We wanted to make the online experience more personalized. Cars are not your average online purchase. We believe luxury consumers of today will appreciate having a personal contact that helps you understand your options and the process,” says Lex Kerssemakers, President and CEO of Volvo Car USA, “The Volvo Concierge concept is developed based on Volvo customer feedback from previous e-commerce solutions, so truly designed around their needs and a good complement to our retail experience”.

The Volvo Concierge is available now at www.volvocars.com/us/cars/new-models/s90/order-yours

The S90 T5 and T6 will be available at retailers starting this summer, with the T8 plug-in hybrid following later.

    • Used this site to have it generate me an exterior and interior version of a KIA EV9 with Genesis look. Deep Image https://deepimg.ai/ai-image-generator/ Have to say I really like this look! @Drew Dowdell I could so enjoy this SUV. Am excited for the GV90 to come out next year if we still get it here in the U.S.
    • 1 minute 30 in and I was swearing at the guy...and I cut it short. Didnt wanna listen to his stupidity any longer than that.  1. Who the phoque does mechanics work on MODERN cars at home in 2025? 2. I get the "right to repair" outrage for Zeke's Auto Shop somewhere in  hickville, alabama or bumpkin pumpkin south carolina... but there is a reason why most people do not attempt to work on modern cars in 2025.    3. its to avoid killing one's self and others as cars today are actually sophisticated.  Do they have to be that sophisticated?  Well that is what this moron youtuber is trying to sell his idea on.   4. But at around the 1 minute mark is where his argument all went south (pun intended as it seems the folk down south in them there united states are really phoquing dumb individuals).  He goes on to say that one could fix the brakes on a car by themselves.  Its not that hard he says. But even if putting the brakes on backwards he says, you would hear a noise that something is wrong and you would just change the brakes up again to put them right.  Like he does not see the problem with what he just said?  ALL KINDS of error in thinking in that... Zeke in his business auto shop down the street should be able to hire auto mechanics students straight from an auto mechanics school to fix modern GM cars, Ford cars, KIAs, Toyotas  and all the other OEMs out there WITHOUT having to buy special proprietary equipment and computers to unlock the proprietary car's computer to be able to read the software language to be able to repair...   I will agree with that.  But Bobby Joe with his two good teeth and his blood cousin/brother-n-law  Waylon who married his sister Country Sunshine shouldnt be able to... 6. There is a reason to why computers are locked though.  Everything phoquing Bluetooth in cars today and outside hackers might and will be able to take control of the cars.  Not that would stop any hacker, but it is more difficult to do so. 7. AND....cars today ARE sophisticated.   You cant just bang on a car part today with a hammer to get it to fit or to hillybilly a solution for it.   Yeah...put a brake part on backwards he says...    Fix it later and better he says when you hear weird noise he says....  Phoque me!!!     If you are serious in doing your own car work...make the phoque sure you aint putting on nothing backwards...  I thought changing brakes are easy.  THAT is what he says too.  But that is the thing, if  putting on brakes is such an easy and trivial thing , why would you put it on backwards, but if you do put it on backwards, what else do you phoque up on the car today in 2025?   And that is with brakes...   Cars today are not just mechanical....   Does this youtuber or Zeke or Bobby Joe,  Waylon and Country Sunshine know electronics and computers?  Are they willing to learn?  They probably all flunked out and dropped out of school, so no...they have no will to learn anything new...  Any other Joe Blow...who some knowledge and its a difficult thing...   Why would you attempt to fix it yourself voiding a warranty or phoquing up another part and being in a worse position than before?   The folk that are able to work on today's cars OUTSIDE of a dealership KNOW what to do. They often HOTROD their cars and TUNE their engines different from the factory settings.  These guys ALREADY  know what to do.  Joe from accounting in your office has not the time, nor the patience to do such things.   Billy Bob in appalachia might be able to do it because Billy Bob is a car guy, but Bobby Joe with his 2 good teeth, most probably not.  Fake phoquing outrage...
