Rolls-Royce has confirmed the long-standing rumors about a baby Roller, saying the smaller-than-Phantom car will be launched "within the next four years" and will be priced from $250,000 to $380,000.

In fact, insiders in Europe say the so-called sub-Phantom will be built on the new chassis that will underpin the next-generation BMW 7 Series that is due in mid-2008.
