Spotted! 2008 Malibu on the road

Featured Replies

I saw a 2008 Malibu this week out driving through town. I didn't get a close look, as it was in oncoming traffic on a 5-lane center divided street, but it stuck out! I recognized it immediately. Beige metallic in color with chrome rims. This is in small town Iowa, south of the capital, our local dealership doesn't even have any yet. Has anyone else seen one out on the streets and highways?

We have 5 coming in next week and we're a fairly large store...I haven't seen one up close yet, but we have had some interest from customers who were surprised that the ads are out but the cars are not yet available. It'll be interesting to see how quick we turn them and how much of an effect they'll have on Impala sales.

I've been looking for them on dealer lots, but all I have seen are the brochures and I grabbed one. I will keep looking.

I saw one on the back of a truck a few weeks back... no idea where it was headed.

As far as on the road, no.

They are all over the place here in MI, of course I work for a certain car company and all the higher-ups are driving them to and from work. I would volunteer to drive one, but I'm on the bottom of the barrel so they don't give those perks to us.

I saw another one yesterday, silver or gray metallic. The stance is awesome.
