Why does GM have to have such great vehicles?

Recommended Posts

Are you considering buying? If I was deciding between the two, I'd definetly go for the Cobalt; it's got a better interior, gets better mileage, is a lot cheaper (unless you get a SS S/C and get a pretty base Colorado), and is probably more fun to drive. Unless you're going to be hauling/towing stuff or going offroad, I'd definetly go for the Cobalt.

Not buying anytime soon. Probably around this time next year. I think a Cobalt SS Coupe in yellow with a 5-spd sounds yummy as hell. But I was more or less trying to generate discussion more than wanting to be convinced one way or the other since I'm not buying any time soon.

Unless you really need a truck, get the Cobalt.

This is just my opinion, but there are several small trucks out there that blow the Colorado out of the water.

Not for the price, though. You can get a Reg cab Colorado Sport with a 5-spd and the 3500 for a helluva lot cheaper than a Tacoma TRD. And aside from the Tundra, no other compact/mid-size truck even offers a sport model.

All that aside, though, you're right about the Cobalt.

There is a new GMC Canyon extended cab in white at the local dealer here. They put massive chrome wheels on it. Stunning is all i can say. It transforms this truck. There are some naysayers regarding the Colorado/Canoyon twins. I like them alot. No, it does not have a luxury interior. I don't care. I still like it. In this class, it's the truck I would buy.

I like the Cobalt SS a lot as well. I am crazy about the rear wing.

I think someone just answered their own question...unless of course you hump to the sight of a Colorado too, that is. :)
