Not a bad price, competitive w/ the Charger SRT8. Alas, in these economic times, they probably will sell only 50 or so.

And because of that, people will call it a failure and want GM to discontinue the car

Because GM is permanently connected with a high volume image.

Sales #s do not matter, esp w/ a car of this class. As long as Pontiac makes a profit on the G8 / G8 GXP, it's a success, even if that is only 50 GXPs. Whether or not that turns out to be the case, who knows.

So true. This is and will never be a volume vehicle.

This is a pretty good price considering it includes destination and gas tax. These will be an amazing value in a couple years on the used market, I think.

True that. There are lots of ~15K mi G8 GTs for under $20K. Compared to a new four-banger Accord or Malibu, that's a good $3-4K to spend on fuel and warranty.

Yes, quite the bargain..not to mention you would have something special and relatively rare in the G8, as opposed to yet another pedestrian FWD family sedan.

They made another smart move not over pricing it... Now I really want one, but why is the stick extra money?
