That car is custom built off of a GTO by Steve Sandlin. It has nothing to do with GM development. Steve also built a badass '57 chevy convertable with a LS1 running 8 turbo's putting out 730hp. You can see more pics and detail of both of these cars at www.lateral-g.net

You are probably right. But will they use it?....at least change the very dated 'Monte Carlo' name and transition this car into something special like a rwd coupe.

GM has mode no announcement for any return of nay Chevelle. Only a "four seat coupe", which may be called the same as that old Chevy F body car. And btw, the Chevelle car line back in the 60's and 70's was not just 2 door 'muscle cars'. The SS396 and SS454 were the special models of the Chevelle line, which actually included 4 doors and wagons. Most maybe had 2 barrel carb small V8's and were family cars. But there was a big aftermarket, where any V8 Chevell could be turned into a 'muscle car'. Anyway, more than likely the Camaro name will come back on any 2 door, and it will probably be a Holden GTO twin.

i was told that chevy is using kappa to make a 2 seater car with the new 3.9 with 242 hp if it is the chevelle i would be shocked but the chances this car i call "the cholestice" (dont ask) are not likely still concepty. but the. i ve seen a pic of the camaro and it really doesnt look like the Chevelle project. and wut i hear i dont think a chevelle is in store in the near future

All sorts of rumors ... and seemingly no concrete evidence either way.
