'57 Pontiac Safari TWO DOOR

Featured Replies

Sporty, luxurious... a fine Pontiac.

P-57s = gorgeous... in a way no mercedes has ever matched.

I love it! Def. a high watermark for GM.

Balth:

As awesome as this Safari is, You wouldn't trade it for a 1929 Mercedes SSK or even a '55 Gullwing 300SL?

Crap.

The posting has expired, didn't get to see it.

These cars are very cool, but I still give the styling nod to the Nomad.

300SL is unrefined, design-wise. Does nothing for me.

But the P-57 top shelf is the Bonneville, not the Safari.

'29 is too far removed chronologically to consider vs. the P-57.

However, it's worth considerably more, so if flipping was optional.... ;)

Bingo...I would agree with you sir...
