I am deathly afraid to get the next electric bill...

July, August and Sept are usually the worst here..though June's was $430.

It seems to be never-ending. Instead of having the occassional day above 90, we have the occassional day below 90 this year.

Truly a summer from hell.

Cold front here...high is supposed to be under 100 w/ humidity today. Overcast, and some strange liquid came from the sky (had to use 'windshield wipers' for the first time since April) :)

The desert is a strange place.

Not bad outside today- keeping out of the sun there was a actual, fairly refreshing breeze.

How far inland do the 'ocean breezes' blow- current job is relatively close...

Yeah, the breeze saved the day somewhat - but the sun was still very hot. It was not too awful in the shade.

Humidity was down for sure, yesterday was really bad.

Yeah, after weeks of heat and oppressive humidity, storms every other day, and 2 days with tornado warnings, today was extremely nice. Around here it was 79 degrees with a nice breeze. Finally nice enough to adjust the parking brake on the Prizm.

I'm envious, DF.

It was nowhere near that nice here, just alot better than the putrid day yesterday was.

It hasnt been super hot but it has been humid quite a lot of the time. I despise heat more than anything in the whole world. I always make sure the A/C works in all the cars. We have gotten more rain than we have in a long time.

Eventually I plan to revamp the a/c in my car...but at least the Prizm has great a/c.

Well today has been one of the most hellish yet, autumn can't come soon enough.

It is terrible out. As soon as I walked outside my glasses fogged up, that's how humid it is. The air is so thick it feels like you could slice through it.

Good day to relax inside. <3 air conditioning.
