  1. 1. Cheers or Jeers?

    • Cheers! A seriously heavy duty vehicle for those with a propensity to break smaller trucks.

Cheers or Jeers: 1988 GMC C65 Pickup

1988 GMC c65 Pickup. Professionally built last year. Vehicle has 49,159 Miles on it and the drive train has 36,000. The truck runs and drives great. Features include: 454 big block motor, 5 speed trans, 2 speed rear end, dual exhaust, 50gal drivers side gas tank, fresh paint job, New Radiator, Edelbrock carb and MT valve covers. The cab was very clean and rust free. There were 2 small holes in the floor and one in the rockers. All three holes were sand blasted, welded and filled. The fender extensions still have holes (see photos). These just bolt on and I have extra paint to paint new ones if you chose to replace them. Any and all surface rust was sand blasted coated with POR15, primed and painted. This is not a Bondo bucket. The rear frame was sand blasted and painted with POR15 then undercoated with the rest of the truck. All brake lines were replaced as well as the gas lines. Full tune up was done. The rear chuck was replaced with Highway friendly gears ( The speedo is off due to gear change) rear pads and calipers were replaced. All tires were replace by previous owner and are in good shape. All new door seals and tail lights. Original interior other than floor mounted stereo and speakers. I enjoyed building and showing this truck but I have to make some room. Its a street legal Monster Truck and a real show stopper.
