    • Jeers! Where am I going to find room to park this thing? The deck of an air craft carrier?

Cheers or Jeers: 12,000 Mile 1971 Cadillac DeVille Calais

My father is putting his absoulety beautiful 1971 Caddy up for sale. The Calais was the entry level into a Cadillac and there aren't many of them left. Maybe none in this condition!

This is a true time capsule and has been garaged in a climate controlled since the day it was new. When the car was purchased new the owner had seat covers professionally installed over the original upholestry and were removed only four weeks ago.

Vehicle is equipped with a 472-4 barrel, automatic transmission, cold air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, am/fm stereo, intermittent wipers and day night mirror.

The body on this vehicle is in truely exceptional condition still shown in its original outstanding paint. There are only a few imperfections. The trunklid has three blemishes in the paint and the driver door has a minor dent (see pics) other than that the original body panel are lazer straight and TOTALLY rust free. The original chrome and moldings are truely show quality. Even the underside of the bumpers have NO surface rust whatsoever. It still has the original T-3 headlights. The spare tire has never been out of the trunk. The only thing not original on this vehicle is the tires.

The undercarraige shows as though the car is a year old and is truely amazing.

The interior is as new as the day it came out of the factory.

Vehicle runs and drives flawlessly and will make any trip with total confidence. My father and I just took the car on a four hundred mile trip and it ran like a new car.

This is a rare opportunity to own one of the best original 71 Cadillacs to exist. It speaks for itself and it is an extrodinary automobile.
