There also was a Toyota Cavalier for a while (95-99ish) that was a rebadged Chevy Cavalier, sold in Japan only.

Should be late 1995 as MY1996 to 2000 as MY2001.

There is immense irony in that Toyota Cavalier. I had forgotten about that car.

Looks odd with the Toyota logo on the hood.

I bet that car got excellent reviews and excellent resale value compare to the chevy cavalier
The Toyota Cavalier barely sold in Japan, like the Saturns GM sent over there. If you want to crack a market why the hell would you do it with a Cavalier and an SL2? Not the best idea there guys.
