GM News: General Motors Leads 2011 Global Auto Sales

After turning in profits for consecutive quarters of 2011, General Motors regained the global sales crown for 2011. Buoyed by an upswinging Chevrolet brand that saw growth in many of global markets, GM reported sales of more than 9 million units, a gain of over 7% compared to last year's sales. Chevrolet brand accounted approx. 4.8 million units. General Motors reports that it gained the global market share by 4th of a percent during 2011 to 11.9 percent.

I called this one...

No surprise to me that this happened, but as I said back when Toyota unseated GM, don't count on anyone hanging on to the sales title for very long anymore. GM's record in holding the title for decades is unlikely ever to be matched.

You were not so sure about this when they killed Pontiac. See the Sun still comes up. LOL!

No, the sun went dark and has stayed that way since they killed Pontiac.

Who Cares about the over all sales number, FOCUS on QUALITY Auto's that people will Want to Buy and you will Destroy the Competition. :D
