Lucerne vs PA/LeSabre

Featured Replies

Is a 2008 Buick Lucerne (CXL) more like a Park Avenue or a LeSabre from say, 2003-5?

Hard to say, the Lucerne was meant to replace both cars.

Really depends on the trim.

It is a 2008 Lucerne CXL Special Edition with the 3800 Series III (no NorthStar engine). No sunroof either, but it is loaded though.

Size wise it seems closer to the Shorter LeSabre and the trunk is LeSabre sized. Features wise it is more Park Ave without the hot engine. The Series III 197 HP 3800 also feels more logy in the heavier Lucerne compared to the LeSabre. The 2009-2011 3900 equipped Lucernes are much better IMO.
