2019 Model RAV4 all new?

Seems that the newest RAV4 was caught in hot weather testing in california and could be released next year in 2019 or sooner.

Will say that the pictures are heavy covering but clearly you can see that the RAV4 is going away from their bullet look and into a more traditional SUV type body look. Supposed to be the first CUV on their global new TGNA platform.

The way the front it disguised, the grille makes me think Dodge.   Speaking of Dodge CUVs, wonder when the Journey is going to get replaced...

Good Question but the sucker is old and yet still sells. The story says for the 9 th year, the 2018 model of production with minimal changes, it is the second best selling dodge behind the caravan.

One does wonder if it will get replaced or just what, but they keep building them and they keep selling.

There was a piece on Jalopnik yesterday about the Journey...price is part of it's success, cheapest 3 row out there probably.   Had one as a rental a few years ago, not bad..the house 2 doors down from me has 2 of them.

Looking the sales numbers from it's first year to the present, sales were double in '15-16 compared to '08-10...very unusual to see a model do that without a redesign..

Probably due to the cheap price.
