  1. She has a lot of fight in her. Unreal what people will do when they are caught...

  2. Utterly dismal, one would think. Was in a bad mood the other day, a little bit of Lincoln love to make up for that.

  3. Most of us like facts and figures, knowing all the numerical data about so many cars and trucks ... and spouting a lot of statistics about the current pandemic. Changing the subject: California's population has recently hit the 40 million mark. Los Angeles County has been at the 10 million mark for a good while - the city of L.A. has 4 million people. That means ~ 1 in 4 Californians lives in Los Angeles County. The state has about 166,000 square miles. Los Angeles County has about 4,000 to 5,000 square miles. That's about 2.4% of California's total area. And big chunks of Los Angeles County are not habitable or just not that sought after (state parks and national forests, really steep mountains, and the "High Desert") I never distilled it down to these kinds of numbers. Ouch.

  4. Best coach they ever had. Arguably the best coach period. Definitely the winningest coach ever. After him, the Dolphins' slide towards mediocrity and worse for the next 25 years. . . . .

  5. Good song. Great movie - "The Night Shift" - it starred Henry Winkler, Shelley Long (from "Cheers'), and was the first film for Michael Keaton, who did a fantastic job in his debut.

  6. Don Shula passed away today. No, it was not "the" virus. I couldn't believe he was already 90 ?!? How time flies. R.I.P. - I'm sure South Florida is mourning.

  8. We'll since you did not post the actual web site and screen captures to go along with your info, let me correct this for you from the Nada site as of this morning comparing to equal 2017 LT Cruze to BOLT. Since you also love Diesel, I added the Diesel Cruze too that shows the BOLT still has better trade-in value, clean retail value than the cruse. BOLT based on NADA Site shows 57% of Retained Value Cruze Gas on NADA Site shows 63% of Retained Value Cruze Diesel NADA Site shows 60% of Retained Value Here the BOLT has More Horsepower, More Torque to go along with the less maintenance. Which for many other than the cost increase would love to not have to deal with trips for repairs, etc.

  9. Crazy how skinny woman can go bat crazy when caught on something like this. Such a stupid choice she made.

  10. Beautiful place...took a tour 25 years ago, was up in Boston visiting my sister for her birthday, and we drove down to Newport for the day. I recall Newport being quite nice...had dinner at a great seafood restaurant called the Mooring, which is still there. Notice in the first pic the big Antonov AN225 w/ the three engines per side..one of those sat for quite a while at Denver International about 15 years ago.

  12. Telluride (no question, just checks every box), and Durango gets my votes also. Telluride, no question. Durango, in current form, is one of the most refined, efficient, capable, etc. in the group, with space and capability. Solid, proven, a pleasure to drive, spacious, and add in a well baked ZF 8-speed, RWD based tank platform, etc. The Explorer is a mess. Great on paper, great in theory, but built to 80% and they missed taking those great RWD bones, and actually refining them. Glitchy powertrain, unrefined and weird 10-speed performance, unrefined ride/handling, and garbage interior bits. Hopefully 2-3 years in it gets a rebake, and refresh to tune it up. Traverse...rental car feel, extraordinare. Had 2016 for 3 years. The new gen has better dynamics and sharper responses, mixed with bleh cheap plastics and lack of details, ugly cheap silver wheels, plastic galore, etc. GM and Ford are in a similar spot right now with "they got so good" then..."let's go cheap, plasticky again, and who cares" downward cycle. Then Telluride...well... Any automaker. Just take a Telluride, and do that. It checks every box properly, right, and is priced bizarrely normal too, less than others. $60k Enclave with bleh guts (used to set an example) or $43k Telluride that feels worth $10k more, and is nicer day to day. No question.

  14. Ford is doing it. And Ford knows trucks. It's not a replacement for a Fiesta or Focus, but it is a welcome addition to their lineup. It is rumored to start under $20k. My Colorado was $37k. I owned 5 S-10 pickups, they were plenty big enough. I am on my 4th Colorado, and one thing I miss about those old S-10s is the smaller size, and all the advantages of that tidiness.

  15. I love small pick ups, right there with you bud. Post WW 2 outside of Spandau prison, where war criminals were kept after WW 2. Torn down after Rudolf Hess died in 1987. Neat old Mercury in back ground... Love the Iron work! And tons of Jumbos, including A380s going down as a result of current crisis.
