Your transmission may benefit from a flush if the fluid is dirty and fouling up the sensor. You may also need to get a new PCS solenoid. Take it in to your trusted mechanic/dealership and get it scanned for any codes, followed by a checkup. Unrelated question: have you replaced your intake manifold gaskets? The OEM ones are known for failures causing engine damage if not checked up on or replaced with better-designed aftermarket ones.

Well of course California uses more fuel than anyone else! The Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles are the busiest port system in the world, and what powers ships? Diesel. Trucks are necessary to ship goods to and from the ports, and what do they use? Diesel. Based on the blog post, I cannot tell if LAX and its jet fuel factors into the equation or not, but regardless CA already has more freeways, busier ports, and more truck traffic than anywhere else in the world.

With 100% confidence, I don't think loki and I are at each others' throats.

I didn't see any article or anything accopanying this. Just the table on the Texas' SOS website. So...are you sure the parties haven't already done the paperwork and the website just has not been updated yet? Or maybe they're holding out until after the conventions to make it seem "official"?

SAAB builds the best interiors in GM. They don't have all the flashy colors or gimmicky features that many other brands have, yet SAABs look and feel really niiiiiiiiice. The 9-3 is the perfect example of this: a really nice, high-quality interior that is really just a bunch of matte grey plastic with trim pieces and leather. But the plastic is high quality, the switchgear is top notch, and because of the actual DESIGN of the interior, it feels really, really upscale. If GM wants to streamline its global operations, they should have the SAAB people be the interior expert designers for all of GM's brands, IMO.

Not sure what science you've studied, but I remember clearly from the biology and biotechnology (applied genetics) courses I took that the processes of mitosis and myosis seem to present a pretty solid case that "life" continues through replication and doesn't ever "begin" anew. Life can end, but it never really "begins." The real debate is "at what point do you consider the clump of cells to be a separate entity"...at some point during the pregnancy, or when the umbilical cord is severed and the fetus is no longer attached to the mother?

I'm actually not quite sure I get what you mean, here...it seems to me that we have two very different candidates who have, for the most part, resisted any urge to "triangulate" so as to come off as two sides to the same coin. Even on the policy side, these two are very different.

Biden isn't a "good old boy" at all. For as many years as he has been in politics, he has resisted the lobbyists. He's one of the least-wealthy senators (if not THE least), his wife is an educator, and he rides Amtrak everyday to work. Plus he's a veteran with many positions the opposite of McCain.
