ok. hm. sounds good... your other ideas relating to energy and, mostly adding more taxes to other things... just off the top of my head sounds like it may still have a ~net 0 effect on the budget if it was enacted today...? but i'm guessing you want more of the "old tax progressive hike"....the highest eschalon of the rich would pay more like 50%-95%, some where up there. ?

so you're talking about a fountain of money instead of rain. lol just funny analogy. i still think >75% of people would spend "free" money irresponsibly. just like how the $300-$1200 or more "tax return" was prolly spent buying "junk" instead more needed things...>75% of the time.

yes i'm aware platinum is more expensive than gold. they just want to see how well it scales, if it's worth it.

http://gas2.org/2008/09/21/new-energy-effi...-into-gasoline/ sounds quite efficient, but still have to have the sugar first.

you know what happens when you assume... cause i don't. LOL vast lies or opinions thrown around as facts happen in both parties. i think if you take a "fact" and try to go the opposite way with it and that way sounds worse, after more than an inkling of thought, the original "fact" must be closer to the truth than not. a very simple example of scientific thought, not science though.
  12. any new artist that you can hear on two stations at the same time, or 2 times in 2 hours on the same station.
  13. a reject from american idol? i wouldn't doubt it.

is it really a lack of regulation or lack of oversight of current regulations? i think it's horribly funny that "they" are looking at whether short selling should be illegal. i'm sure it does hurt people occasionally, but one could say that's what the market is for, so strong and weak companies can be prodded as such to test them. this is just socializing risk more and could take away "market selection". is there a theory of market selection yet? if not, can i propose it?!
  15. looks like a camaro/mazda6 baby, with some Saab. it looks pretty sweet overall, imo.

he was providing more proof that the next president always gets the benefit of an upswing in the economy (even small) and is attributed to the that next president. we'll still have a embassy bigger than the Vatican there most likely, and troops to guard it. it still scares me that BO has said nothing is off the table concerning IRAN....yeah yeah, he wants to "talk". that isn't a promise he will and anything useful would come out of it.

so are you saying you want them to have a shared R&D, competing R&D, or a centralized R&D? I know you mean well with this idea, but some things you can't solve/accelerate with just throwing "free" $$ at it. i believe the best gov doesn't give anyone favors.
  21. i'd only complain about the bloat and security layers from my personal experience. ....i don't use it on my personal pc yet. i have a business ed. i bought through school for ~$15. old handheld lcd games... the ones that were just one game and didn't have any real "motion" to them, just a few positions and actions.
  22. with another or 2 of those paychecks, you could take a country cruise and visit most everyone on here....in that camaro SS.

and the fact that BO said he wouldn't run a smear campaign... more of his ads are smear ads compared to McCain's ads. BO has said a lot, judge him by his words and actions. If i wanted to vote against someone, i'd vote for McCain, but "everyone" seems to be voting for the candidate as a way to vote against something/someone. I wish this would change, but it only would when the third parties are equally included in campaigning/debates. no more voting for the lesser of 2 evils...please America. not picking anyone out, just what seems to happen, generally.
  24. based on...? it's an internet poll, so if you don't know about it, you can't vote on it.
