we so need to let the train system get upgraded. this should not be happening anymore.

that's pretty much what happened here... but it was over a couple hours during the day i believe.

poking some fun, but couldn't this be horse and sparrow with more than just economy. so much extra oats it's a self seeding process....with fertilizer for free!!!!! lol loans that should produce better cars, less oil use, better for the environment... the money will hit research, produce "breakthroughs" that will either be patented or outsourced and supposedly the consumer will "profit". I think this will come back to haunt us if over time things don't change. the bill at the end of the "period" will cut into profits and could be the hair that broke it's back.

maybe that's why MB quality isn't as great as the name implies. hehe i think this is just what has become a circle for dems. pass legislation that hurts the companies we have, then we have to give them loans, and then more legislation, then more hurt, thus more loans or less industry.. power corrupts, few can withstand it.

Remembering those that died in the 9/11 attacks

i was in school ..1st or 2nd period i think.... some say that day has marked a move out of post modern era. it's tragic for sure. most of the things that have changed since then have not been for the better. many are honored as modern heroes, many are forgotten to possible illness from that day/week. all are victims of possibly an overbearing hand of what this country has become, and how others react to it. -
my family loves to watch good eats aka Alton Brown. my dad watched one and said he said to fry them twice to have them stay crunchy. I don't know if that true.

yes. .. and letting fields lie fallow, yes people can get subsidies for that. i agree.

looks like some of the elements of the opel concept and the newest aveo for the front 2.3L.... the same one for the equinox?!!?! it is on EP isn't it? sounds like not a bad car... this could be the rise of Suzuki -
i know you said that. but I could say that food production is a national security issue so the farmers need to be paid to to farm, not just for the products... instead of military bases in peaceful countries... or something like that. i know it's just your opinion, but other opinions that could also "make sense", can't make sense...to me. the top link, great last pic on the page. this is what needs to be revealed, the hypocrisy of law enforcement and laws, when that is solved things will be so much better. the second link(the sound of it) just shows that national power extends too far down and doesn't let locals decide what's best for itself.

but they'll have to learn english anyway, it's the official and only language in the armed forces. ...i've heard the manual for an A-1 abrams is just pictures.

haha. i never said you were, but i might have certainly implied your socialistic ideas for getting alt energy off the ground is kinda liberal. no offense, but didn't you say that your family history has been very entrepreneurial ? ... the near idealism of giving "grant money" for alt energy is surprising in face of that I'm hugely surprised how long this thread has gone on.

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Ron_Paul_off...party_0910.html the video of his asking people to to at least look at "third parties", and the people that don't vote, to vote for the best person in the field.

#1 and 3. isn't a decentralized energy grid/production needed to decrease how vulnerable the system is? #2. i agree, other than high altitude gas/special needs, i would be for phasing out midgrade. #4.. yeah, that's how it was designed. do you agree with the drinking age requirement for funds? #5...as in centralize a place for control or standards or...? just vague to me. I'm all for an educated populace, but when people, that use any service, aren't footing the bill, they won't be so demanding on the quality, typically. gifted kids can be held back by the less intelligent kids in the class room, if gifted programs can't be offered, say by budget and such, the parents can't say ok i'll pay for it, the taxes would have to be raised or maybe not pay the teachers "well",ie cutbacks, but that would hurt more of the other children... right? i was never in a public school till college, so, i might be wrong... but how wrong am I? there are certainly some things that a federal gov't has to do. I also think that the power of states/individuals can find fixes to these problems, but if they make a huge mistake, it most likely won't affect the vast majority of the rest of the populace, where a mistake at a national level affects everyone.

http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog/?p=484 The Republican/Democrat duopoly has, for far too long, ignored the most important issues facing our nation. However, alternate candidates Chuck Baldwin, Cynthia McKinney, and Ralph Nader agree with Ron Paul on four key principles central to the health of our nation. These principles should be key in the considerations of every voter this November and in every election. We Agree Foreign Policy: The Iraq War must end as quickly as possible with removal of all our soldiers from the region. We must initiate the return of our soldiers from around the world, including Korea, Japan, Europe and the entire Middle East. We must cease the war propaganda, threats of a blockade and plans for attacks on Iran, nor should we re-ignite the cold war with Russia over Georgia. We must be willing to talk to all countries and offer friendship and trade and travel to all who are willing. We must take off the table the threat of a nuclear first strike against all nations. Privacy: We must protect the privacy and civil liberties of all persons under US jurisdiction. We must repeal or radically change the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the FISA legislation. We must reject the notion and practice of torture, eliminations of habeas corpus, secret tribunals, and secret prisons. We must deny immunity for corporations that spy willingly on the people for the benefit of the government. We must reject the unitary presidency, the illegal use of signing statements and excessive use of executive orders. The National Debt: We believe that there should be no increase in the national debt. The burden of debt placed on the next generation is unjust and already threatening our economy and the value of our dollar. We must pay our bills as we go along and not unfairly place this burden on a future generation. The Federal Reserve: We seek a thorough investigation, evaluation and audit of the Federal Reserve System and its cozy relationships with the banking, corporate, and other financial institutions. The arbitrary power to create money and credit out of thin air behind closed doors for the benefit of commercial interests must be ended. There should be no taxpayer bailouts of corporations and no corporate subsidies. Corporations should be aggressively prosecuted for their crimes and frauds.

i can't agree on the energy or transportation....unless you mean only to keep it fair and working....which i think the states would be able to usually do. "generic...."....not really. i just can't agree on spending tax payers money on things that we'll never get direct use out of...other than the military. like ethanol, or something in alaska, etc. if the gov't does it and you replace the gov't with a person you may or may not know and you wouldn't want that person doing it, then i don't think the gov't should be doing it. like stealing money from my paycheck... sure..."it's safe and waiting for your retirement".... but it's still keeping my money i worked for and not letting me have it when i should...Social security. bah. ok, that was the only thing coming to mind. just checking.

I don't mind Cspan, i get "trapped" by bookTv sometimes. haha. i don't turn it on much at all during the week though. Npr... other than it's fluff pieces.. the time allowance for big news doesn't allow for indepth coverage and i think they skew to the liberal, but not alot, nor all the time.

a friend calls dogs attention whores. cats don't need you.

yes, but i'd be surprised if they win any new seats this year in senate/house... well they sure have proposed/passed tons of non legal bills...like holiday and national ____ month. doesn't this show they can't compromise with republicans to get anything meaningful done... if they proposed truely "centrist" bills, i'd think more than a few would get passed, somehow. more and more d's bills are "feel good" bills. r's bills are a mismash of current and "classic" thought for the party.

hm? i try to stay informed, but maybe i skipped over this....?
