  1. Over all, take a Nice mid 80's Monte Carlo with a Ramjet 350 or 502 or even a modern LS3 or LS9 under the hood to anything that is a current selling product and I would kick their ass on a Red light Run. Sleeper baby!!!
  2. Sweet Red Ferrari and a Black Menacing Lambo in Seattle this morning. Gotta love sport cars.
  3. There is room for limited production run of RWD V8 cars. This can be a profitable niche that will please people and act as a halo car to other auto's that Chevy sells.
  4. WOW, Hope everyone is truly OK and no long lasting scars or bodily dammage done.
  5. We could say the same thing about why did GM not use Pontiac for limited edition runs of modern versions of old performance cars. This is a beauty and I think there is a market for limited production runs of select desirable cars.
  6. Yea just put the terrorist in front of the Rubicon and smash the Gas Pedal!!!
  7. WOW, I loved the 928 GTS, that car rocked!!! Color sucks though.
  8. First start by dropping off the cliff the ugly GT-R and bring back a real Skyline. In regards to the other two, I know some people really like the Z and SX cars, but I will pass on them.
  9. H'mmmmm So at first I was thinking HELL NO WAY on this!!! Yet the more I ponder this, the more I realize this will not only make the roads safer for those of us that love to drive, but it will keep the lemmings, Yes you bozo's that want to play with your phones, makeup, etc anything other than be a responsible driver in line so I can quickly drive around you all. Give us the choice, either full automatic driving or full hell yea I am responsible for my kick ass driving skills.
  10. WOW, Just more ways to take an ugly non selling car and have plenty of production sheet metal sitting around for the birds to poop on. Even the last few months show it still is not selling here in the states. Hello anyone at the helm of Fiat???? Do you not realize you have the wrong cars for the wrong market???? Wonder how many millions more will be spent before they pull the plug again and flee or finally wake up to realizing the tastes of this car are not liked here.
  11. Sweet, Gotta love the room under the hood to work on the baby. It just does not come any easier than this for working on the car. Love that big ol wood siding. Funny how I hate this on most vehicles, but the Olds Station wagon and the Fords actually looked pretty good this way.
  12. I totally agree, if you had a torque monster 4 banger that got you in the low to mid 20's in a full size pickup so you could still haul a days work of material and tools, I think it would work out really well. Especially if the interior was designed to be hosed out so you would not have to worry about mud, etc. I think Chevy could do this in their full size truck using the 2.8L Duramax Diesel engine. That would totally rock.
  13. I feel that it would be good to KILL OFF, Yes I said it, KILL OFF Lincoln and then decide what REAL products they want in a luxury division versus we will sell this under FORD.
  14. So when Toyota decides to stop investing in the ugly prius due to lack of demand for the product, they will get their own large negative movie titled: "DEATH of the Hybrid, How Toyota killed what should have saved the world!" Some how I do not think we will ever see they vilified the way GM has been. So much Double standard BS from the Politicians and idiot americans. The biggest villian has been Consumer reports which has totally lost their way in unbiased judgement of who is good and who is bad.
  15. Ugh, Would rather have a Jeep SRT8 over this ugly jelly bean.
  16. So would the Chevy 130R be the right competitor to this bad boy?
  17. Yes, some pin head actually thinks people have forgotten all marketing and common sense and are willing to follow their lemmings naming structure.
  18. I think that they will want to recapture as much as possible of their existing investment, so sadly I think it will be as cubical has stated, a rebadge job. Yet I think they will spend some time on making the rebadge as individual as possible. I think most of the auto industry has learned that poorly executed badge jobs do not survive.
  19. To me, I say they use this name on their new SUV. That would sound fitting. I cannot see them going away from their normal naming system for a car.
  20. H'mmm it would be interesting to see this on the Rubicon trail. Does it have the guts to go up against the Jeep Rubicon and could it survive?
  21. Some day I will join you guys for cruise night. Right now I am on day two of a new job so for now no time off built up yet, but at least I did get a full time job finally. I will look forward to seeing pictures of this years cruise fest. I totally understand about the MC's and with your current job situation. I hope things are looking up for you. Take care, best of luck on the job search, I konw there is a job waiting for you that is just right to meet your needs.
  22. Yea bring up a valid point as I know my driving habits do not reflect the supposedly true epa of my vehicle. I average 13MPG on my Trailblazer AWD SS and it is rated much higher, but I never get that milage in real world driving.
  23. I totally agree with you, I have a hard time truly believing that the MK? is gaining traction compared to many of their old names. This sounds like someone is trying to self convince the powers that be that the MK? is a smart move when in reality it is anything but. Lincoln will have growth since they killed off Mercury but will always be a smaller player going against Acura, Buick, etc. They are not playing the game right if hey think they can challange MB, BMW or Caddy.
