Industry News: Fisker Announces New CEO, Former Volt Boss
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
This is sharp in this color I think. Back on topic, I am having a hard time seeing this company around by 2015. I think this will be another DeLorian mess. -
Next Generation Silverado to Debut in December

It is going to suck you dry!!!!!! -
I have wondered why GM does not use the Buick Quiet steel technology on top of their normal sound deadening material to get an ultra quiet ride.

Chevrolet News:GM Readies A Software Upgrade For The 2013 Volt
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
Sucks but at least it was caught early and should not be much of an issue. To bad OnStar could not push this out to update the car and fix the issue or they send a self installing USB fob to be plugged in and it flashes the system. Would be much better than a stop at the local dealer again. -
Cadillac News: GM Announces A New Global Head For Cadillac
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Cadillac
A-Class is not an a-segment car in any way. It's Golf-sized; B-Series is not fiesta sized either (B-Segment); and the C-CLass is actually a D-segment car. The others seem correct to me. But that's not the point of my reply. The point is that, as for the Cadillac names, I'd use only Escalade (as, rapper car or not, it has built its own brand equity) and Eldorado (heritage FTW!) as 'special' flagships... The more excessive/outrageous/luxurious side of Cadillac if you will... Aside from us die hard car nutz, the real world does not give a rats ass about quality names on quality auto's. Escalade has built it's own reputation and should not be changed. I do think they could build a very nice high end Luxury Eldorado but most never ask or car what the letters stand for and I think Marketing has won in building brand recognition for auto's with short names/numbers to represent a specific auto line.- 28 replies

Pioneering scientists turn fresh air into petrol
G. David Felt replied to SAmadei's topic in Industry News
I will take Fracked Natural Gas over this any day. At least CNG is much cleaner and abundant in the US without having to import oil. We could truly change our country for better if we all moved to CNG which is a logical next step while the battery nerds figure out how to give you a 500-1000 mile range on a battery pack so you can do road trips and then charge over night. Best bet would be for GM to use the VOLT power-train but with a CNG generator and go from there, much cleaner than Petrol and a solid move for people. They could fuel up at home with a BRC FuelMaker appliance. -
In looking at these pictures, while I love the new body, the only thing that is a draw back is the big black mouth that reminds me of a blow fish or some sort of sucking monster.

2006 Charger SRT8 2012 Charger SRT8 Are we getting better or going backwards? Is this car still relevant in today's market place? Over all Fit and Finish are up but does it really meet the needs of the masses?

Subaru News: Rumorpile: Subaru BRZ Turbo In The Works?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Subaru
Anyone who believed there would be no Turbo was fooling themselves. They just did not want to take away from sales right now by saying yea, Next year you will get the real thing. Right now thanks for helping us pay for the R&D. -
Did anyone see the Very Cool Custom GMC Terrain that was shown in the sneak peaks for the SEMA show in the latest issue of Motor Trend? The auto was in the original White Pearl paint job and then they did from the front to the back in all black including blacking out the grill and the over all look if pretty cool. I have been trying to find it online but no luck yet.

I second this, that if pretty freakin awesome. Chevy needs that here.

FAILURE!!! -
I see these as legal challanges by the estabilshed core who are afraid of the change this will bring. Some like myself love going to a dealership and test driving before I decide if I want to buy. Others love the web and will buy with no consideration to the drive. They look at auto's as an appliance and as such look to have a very different buying experiance. In time, these franchises are going to have to change yet for the time being we will see these stupid lawsuits.

Jeep News: Jeep Vehicles To Built In China Once Again?
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Jeep
This is NOT Good. They better have a iron clad locked agreement on everything including the pencils sitting around otherwise the Chinese will steal and call all the technology their own. -
I honestly do not know what the hell this person is thinking on doing this to this vet!

WOW, Just think of the Smell! So I wonder if they will call it the Poo Lamp! I do have to say it would be a neat way to deal with the waste and get a benefit out of it also. Hope enough people really pay attention and support it.
