  1. A teacher asks her classroom of students how many are Trump Fans. All the kids want to be liked by the teacher and raise their hands except for Little Johnny. The teacher asks Little Johnny why he does not like Trump? Little Johnny replies, my mom is a Democrat, my dad is a Democrat and so I will be a Democrat too. The teacher irritated says to Little Johnny, so then if your mom is a Moron and your dad an Idiot, what would that make you? Little Johnny with a grin on his face looks at the teacher and says, "That would make me a Trump Fan!"
  2. I will say that my Escalade Steering wheel with the built in knobs on the underside of the steering wheel are just a great comfortable grip for long road trips and confidence that it will not just slip in the hand when turning also on top of leather and heat.
  3. Another thing to think on is the evidence bullet proof? Sadly, the same type of people who have said an eye for an eye, death penalty if you took a life have convicted others with hate in their heart only to have science prove the convicted innocent. In this regards I wish all guns had palm / finger tip readers to confirm who last fired the gun. While others might say the death penalty is cruel, how is it when the person if proved beyond a reasonable doubt took a life? What about serial killers who are sitting for life, a burden on society in jail because folks feel there should be no death penalty and yet they took multiple lives themselves. Would it not be better for society if that person was no longer around, a burden on the tax payers? Many good questions to be asked. Lets take this a step further, auto makers who due to a focus on profits take shortcuts on safety of an auto, who should be held accountable for the deaths related to their products and how do you hold them accountable? An example of profit before safety, FORD PINTO Details of the Pinto's flawed fuel system: Location and construction: The sheet-metal gas tank was placed behind the rear axle, a design common at the time, but the Pinto's tank was made with exceptionally thin walls. It was held in place by two metal straps. Vulnerable parts: During rear-end impacts, bolts protruding from the differential housing could puncture the thin-walled tank. Additionally, the fuel-filler neck could tear away from the tank itself. Internal cost analysis: Internal Ford documents revealed that engineers were aware of the risks in pre-production crash tests and considered inexpensive fixes, including adding a rubber bladder to the tank. Alternative designs rejected: Engineers considered safer alternative designs, such as placing the tank above the axle (a design used on the Ford Capri), but this was rejected due to cost and styling constraints. Final design choice: Executives opted not to make these changes after a cost-benefit analysis concluded it would be cheaper to pay out potential lawsuits and settlements than to implement the repairs. So who do you hold accountable for the deaths?
  4. Sadly the world is already on board with letting the U.S. consolidate into depression, recession, failure on every front and way. As one of just many stories out there from the BBC: Firms will hesitate to invest in US after raid - South Korea president The more you read from around the world the uglier it gets: South Korea says detained Korean workers released from Georgia facility before flight home Fastest way is to have a Narcissist ignorant idiot47 and his administration be too stupid to understand that Americans do not have the knowledge to setup battery plants. Nor is the desire to get the technical degrees by most folks especially in the south based on recent education reviews of states here. So, this leaves companies to bring in temporary outside folks to get things setup so they can train those wanting to get the jobs. Yet the stupidity is so great that the $350 Billion that Korea committed to invest in the U.S. is now probably not going to happen. Presidential Chief: $350 Billion Fund Talks Stalled This is shown by Hyundai now thinking of mothballing the existing plants under construction and just keeping things as is for now. That means no $35 billion investment for Georgia, 10's of thousands of jobs and growth in the auto industry here. No this is Stagnation and death of the Auto Industry in the U.S. Ram has killed already having any type of EV and the Ramcharger EV pickup will now be a copy of what Ford did with a traditional gas truck and electrical to offer using the truck as a generator much like the F150 with pro power package were used to power homes in Texas due to the stupidity of that state leadership with a weak electrical grid. Ram's electric pickup truck is officially dead In other words, ignorant leadership brings death, and the days of the old manufacturing industrial revolution is gone and will not come back. The biggest problem is that neither political party is working for "We the People" they are clearly taking money into their own pocket and letting the 1% have their way, this will destroy what people think America is about. Idiot47 and his lemmings have no clue about "We the People", they are stupid in understanding the constitution, willing to manipulate to break the laws for their own self entitlement gain and fail to see how they are destroying this country. While CEO Mary of GM says they are still committed to EVs, the pull back and single line manufacturing of all EV models while they invest billions in old tech is not going to save GM in the long run unless they truly make some major changes. Society will move forward, auto industry will move forward the Ford, Stellantis, and GM, America auto industry very well could become a footnote in history books by 2050, though it could get stretched out if America truly becomes a dictatorship state, then look at Russia and their old back assward country as well as North Korea and how behind they are. Two 3rd world countries thinking they are 1st world and a 1st world country becoming a 3rd world country due to stupidity. 5. No matter what, loss of life is sad and I feel for his wife and kids, I did not like nor would ever support Kirk as he was a racist POS imho. People like this bring it on themselves when they ignore history and go down the rabbit hole of hate that Kirk and the MAGA movement has done. Wish all the MAGA an early dirt nap! Society will be better off without them. In regards to the auto industry, Ford, GM and Stellantis have dug their own grave and ignoring technology and moving forward you get what you get and the Chinese have moved forward with society not backwards the way Maga and many U.S. companies have done. Have a friend who just left at the start of this week for a tech tradeshow in Amsterdam and has informed me very few people visiting their booth and many of those that do tend to be very negative about their products / services. My gut tells me that GM Cadillac of Europe is going to fail hard due to the whole MAGA BS in DC. The big investments in ICE is a MISTAKE and will be a short term bump in profits for Ford / GM / Stellantis, but long term will hurt them. I honestly am thinking the Blue states need to stop sending the tax dollars to the feds since the Politicians are not representing me and we do not get anything really back to the Blue states, might as well let the red states starve. It is amazing how stupid the states getting the bulk of fed dollars are. Least Educated States 2025 Seems the states with the highest wages, best education and healthcare are the blue states. At this point, if America was to fracture, I could see the whole west coast becoming a new nation and the rest of the U.S. is going to be in a world of hurt. If Canada makes their own agreement with China and I can see this happening like Mexico did, I agree with @oldshurst442 that the U.S. is screwed and the U.S. auto industry will die over the next 3 to 6 decades. Just like Japan is falling farther behind in the auto industry for moving forward with EVs, Korea and China dominate right now. Sad state of affairs that idiots chose stupidity to run this country, but as I have also said, both major political parties are to blame for the FAILED Immigration system as well as Phouquing up SS / Medicare.
  6. This video rewatching it again just reenforces that BOTH political parties have FAILED America in fixing immigration! The people just want to work, pay their taxes and go home. Love the comments from everyone that says let all companies pull out of the red states and fail. The more I watch this video the more I have anger for the Idiots of ICE as there is no need for all the chains on these people as if they are mass murders. I would not blame Hyundai from pulling out and letting this country fall down.
  7. Pathetic part is that most of those folks here had valid work permits and have skills that America does not have since most Battery / EV production is outside of the U.S. So much for bringing back Manufacturing when you have such idiots in charge that cannot understand the need to bring in folks with the right skills to train the folks here to do the job.
  8. I love 1967, the year I was born. So, this being from the 67 Expo in Canada, does this stacks housing still exist in Cité du Havre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada? I could not find any data on if they still exist today?

  10. Facts are Facts and clearly the loss of jobs is proof that the Tariffs have not helped but hurt the U.S. Economy as it is a distraction from the wealthy taking more and crushing the hard workers of America especially in Manufacturing such as the Auto Industry. Here’s how many jobs have been lost in sectors affected by tariffs since Trump’s trade war started About time the CEOs start speaking out. 11. Soo like the movie "Ready Player One" the Ohio Stacks have begun!
  12. Very cool model of your bike.
  13. The sales tax is applied to all businesses in Washington state excluding grocery stores. As such, no matter if you support or not the pro teams, but you go eat at McDonalds, sit down dinner at Anthony's seafood, etc. there is a 1/2% sales tax that you pay that is dedicated to go to the stadiums. As such everyone pays it. I have gone down this rabbit hole when it first quietly hit our sales tax and plenty of others here have complained about that it originally was supposed to only hit select businesses that support the stadiums, but the politicians here made it a blanket tax that everyone pays.
  14. @oldshurst442 @ccap41 Good to know that some stadiums were paid for with private money. Old's I understand the Olympics and the money trap the countries / cities get caught up in, but I do appreciate the global competition in sports as my son was part of the U.S. Gymnastics boys team from the JO program all the way up to the full Olympic program in Colorado Springs before he retired as it did wear on his body. My disgust for Pro Sports comes from the NFL strike and the players complaining about how expensive it is to insure rare auto's and wanting more money, fancier places, etc. In Seattle, Nintendo, owners of the Mariners baseball team as well as the Seahawks got the taxpayers to not only pay for their stadiums, but for the maintenance and the proof is that pro sports DO NOT bring in greater money than the costs of these stadiums. While in some regards, I respected Paul Allen for his donations to various causes, as a billionaire I felt he should have paid for his own stadium. His sister who inherited his wealth and the ownership of the Seahawks had the nerve to tell Seattle they needed to continue to pay for maintenance of the stadium or she would look to move the team elsewhere. Greed like this is what has turned me off of pro sports, I enjoy College sports, but even there at the push to allow private money in with what I see as manipulation, this next season will be interesting to see how it goes as I might end up not bothering to watch or support College either. Interesting to see the latest info on this: In the U.S., sports stadiums have been primarily financed through public funding, with many being built or renovated using taxpayer dollars. Notable examples include: Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, which received $380 million in public funding. Milwaukee Brewers' ballpark, which is expected to receive over $400 million in public support. Tennessee Titans' new stadium, which will have more than $1 billion in public bonds. SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, are among the few NFL stadiums fully funded by private money. The public funding of sports stadiums is terrible imho. Washington state funded the stadiums with a never ending 1/2% sales tax. So no matter how one feels, everyone that comes to this state funds the sports stadiums. Very cool Mark Carney Takes Subtle Jab at Trump Opening Toronto Film Fest: "Don't Push a Canadian Too Far"
