  1. Facepalm is for the stupid way they did the fix, not a fix, lost feature you paid for. Totally agree with you. Sorry to hear it was such a bird brain idea by Ford. Wonder if you can reconnect it and replace the bulb that gets hot with a LED version that stays cool and will not cause a fire?
  2. Be interesting to see what the subprime move to since as I posted above, pretty much all but two are dead after this year. Camry - Yes still in production Accord - Yes still in production K5 - Refreshed 2026 version shown in Korea, but Kia has not following the death of the Stinger in the U.S. stated if after 2025 it will get updated or end of life. Legacy - 2025 last year, end of production this summer Altima - 2025 last year, production ends this summer Sonata - Dead Malibu - Dead
  3. Very cool to see a story about this R34 that is here in the PNW. Awesome car that I love. This Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T Looked Good From Afar But Better Up Close
  4. Well TACO has failed again, reset back to what it was before the trade war started. FAILURE as it has exposed how much our Auto Industry and especially as we move to EVs is reliant on specific items that China Totally Controls. For Trump, Resolving US-China Trade Fight Comes at a Cost Magnets, to the smallest transistor if the U.S. is not going to have to rely on China for various materials that they control the global supply on, then U.S. creativity will have to happen to get us to develop parts that do not use them. The auto industry is going to hurt at the incompetence of trade, Tariff Tuesday might be a good update @Drew Dowdell on the long list of auto parts / materials that the U.S. is reliant on from China and outside the U.S. OUCH This Company clearly points the blame at #47 Tariffs. Trump tariffs claim first major victim as auto giant files for bankruptcy
  5. The pool is closing to just a few after this year.
  6. Scott Pelley delivered the 2025 commencement speech @ Wake University and it is an amazing listen. Just go to the 22 min mark to see his honorary award of doctorate or to 26 min mark for his speech. QUOTE: "Our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack, and insidious fear is reaching through our schools, our businesses, our homes and into our private thoughts." "Power can rewrite history with grotesque false narratives," Pelley warned, according to the HuffPost. "They can make criminals heroes and heroes criminals. Power can change the definition of the words we use to describe reality. Diversity is now described as illegal. Equity is to be shunned. Inclusion is a dirty word." EDIT: I have been thinking on this since I watched it originally, I have rewatched it a second time with a focus on the audience. It is interesting to me the following observation. I have always believed education is the great equalizer that allows people on both sides of the political spectrum, religious spectrum, legal spectrum to have intelligent conversations and when they do not agree on a point, can at least agree to disagree and still have a meal together. My observation is that 1/3rd of the sitting students who are graduating have a I disagree with this guy 100%, another 1/3rd is I totally agree with this guy and the final 1/3rd is I agree with some, but not all. In this, I see critical thinking skills in about 2/3rds of the kids and about 1/3rd that seem to just be going along with situation as once they get their diploma they are out of there. It is interesting as I feel this speech is a call to action be you agree or not with him, it is a call to action to stand up for what one believes. I hope that more folks stand up for what our constitution stands for and help get us back on the right footing in this global multi-cultural world we live in so that we can get back to our jobs, making money and finding a long-term solution to how folks can immigrate to this great country and work contributing. It is time for folks to stand up and let us get back to the pleasures of our auto driven world imho.
  7. It has been interesting to play with, some AI sites it does make a difference, others no. Just have to play and explore your own creative side.
