  1. Good news, now lets keep doing what the new leaders and new company are doing best. Building new solid products to compete globally.
  2. I would add the Elmiraj to the voting list. With that it is my 2nd place followed by the Buick and then Lincoln. Over all while it is nice to see the Lincoln get a full size sedan the car is not bold enough to push the design language and say this is the new Lincoln. On top of that the interior with all the chrome is just stupid. The reflection blindness on the windshield is going to be massively bad and it just looks blingy cheap to me. I like chrome in moderation but we still seem to have stupid designers that think everything chromed is a good thing. WRONG, like anything moderation especially when it comes too luxury, make a statement that shows your different but strong and in moderation.
  3. VOLT Power trains in various performance to extreme frugalness should have been out over the last 3-5 years for all GM bands.
  4. Found this on Yahoo about 9 models that blow you away with small engines. First and foremost is this from the story: Qoute "Sedan or coupe, the compact Caddy is among the industry’s best-kept secrets, more fun to drive than even a BMW 3-Series. That lively, engaging personality is best experienced with the 2.0-liter turbo four, rather than the pricier and more pedestrian 3.6-liter V-6, or the outright anemic 2.5-liter four sans turbocharger." Over all a great read and even SMK's lowly Mercedes Benze gets a spot. https://www.yahoo.com/autos/nine-models-that-prove-small-engines-can-beat-big-116392112457.html
  5. That Rocks, awesome to hear you have that on the tucker.
  6. Gospel mission
  7. Considering the weak motors BMW and MB has put in some of their models this thing was anything but weak.
  8. Came across this story of 17 photo's of auto purgatory. Amazing to see even a couple places in the US but most are in Europe. Amazing to see just how many Citreons, Fiats and Honda's are sitting around due to over production telling us there is plenty of room for consolidation. Interesting photo of a NJ lot with hundreds of near identical 2nd generation new Dakotas. http://www.odometer.com/rides/10497/17-mind-blowing-pics-of-places-in-the-world-where-unsold-cars-waste-away#slide/0/1
  9. For those of us that are 6'6" tall once the seat is all the way back can you get in the back seat and still be comfortable? In other words can four six footers plus ride in it comfortably?
  10. Gotta love the Cuda! https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=drag+strip+engine+sounds https://youtu.be/2XyT00GC1HE
  11. We will see clearly those that want more luxury will end up in a Trax or Encore and those that want the image of off road out doors going with the Renegade. Each will have fans and customers and I agree with Drew that I do not see one cannibalizing the others.
  12. intensity
  13. Two Auto's GMC Suburbans 90's edition / Cadillac Escalades First and third generation versions 1986 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe to be specific OK, Guess that is three to some or two to others.
  14. Nice replacement on the way. BOLT baby BOLT! Great deal if you want an EV now, but the BOLT will be GM's available in every state ride.
  15. OUCH, that is an outrageous price for a compact CUV.
  16. So in cruising the alternative world I found on the Green Car reports two stories about Ford having an 11 speed transmission which they have filed a patent for; http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1097339_ford-patent-for-11-speed-automatic-transmission-wars-escalate Fiat having a 40 mpg 500 with 11 speed transmission; http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1097766_electric-car-battery-costs-40-mpg-surprise-11-speed-automatic-todays-car-news So with battery cost falling and the transmission war kicking in. I wonder how high we will see these transmissions go?
  17. Very cool write up, I love the info and think this will do well for them. I also love the inside of the car. The layout and color is striking. External, I do not like the body language at all. That nose is just a deal breaker for me. Failure for external design. Winner Winner Chicken dinner for the inside.
  18. So now we just need to work on getting this into production in mass scale and fixing the ugly looking auto's as Toyota's auto is hideous.
  19. Caveman
  20. +1 That would be one sick Ride!
  21. Mammoth
  22. Why take on a debt ridden company that is poorly managed and clearly only has a few things of value that does not justify the cost to get. Yet since Common Sense is not Common some people will look at this as a good idea to a point. I agree that Chrysler could have their product line of the few things, mainly the Minivan rolled into Chevy and you kill Chrysler. Dodge should be merged into GMC / Buick / Dodge. Dodge becoming their performance line. Ram is sold off to recapture spent money to a company that wants to get into the US market for trucks. Mercedes Benze should buy them as it would be a superior truck line than NissaBenze could do. Jeep would be GM's stand alone 4x4 offroad group. Cadillac and Maserati become their dual Luxury line, Kill off the stupid Alfa once and for all and stop wasting money on it. It is a History Foot note.
