  1. Would not happen as without the pallet guide and being enabled, once you choose your color, it stays that way till you activate it and then select a new color, so a bird landing on the car would not change it. Plus while some do seem to forget where they parked, that is the reason for the fob and the ability to turn on the flashers and honk the horn. I am sure you would still be able to find your auto Ocnblu.
  2. ATS V beats Infiniti The lower you go the bigger any spoiler looks but when your right behind it, it looks well balanced and far better than the Jelly Bean Rear of the Infiniti.
  3. Economy of Scale always brings price down. Just takes a Dream, some work and eventually it becomes common.
  4. @balthazar @smk4565 Pretty much a wash between AWD models, but the 2WD Escalade is the same weight as the awd GLS 550. I am sure both companies will shed some weight with their next models. Plus GM can put in more powerful NA V8's, so many more reliable GM engine options than MB has.
  5. Makes sense in markets that have lower income levels and or tight roads like old Europe that subcompact Jeep could be as hit.
  6. Love that color too, Had no Idea they built these with that Color. Shame they do not offer it still on the current models. What the auto company needs to do is build ALL AUTO's with a base paint job that is like in the Movie Total Recall where the secretary is able to tap a color pallet and change her fingernails to whatever color she wants. This way you could give people a total custom color job with endless possibilities.
  7. I would take the current Escalade with the TTV8 as a V-Sport and with the Supercharged V8 as the V edition.
  8. I also hope they add an Extended Length model. I can see sales of a CT6-L edition. Awesome would be a CT6-L V-Sport and CT6-L V edition. Bravo and VALID points! Totally agree that they seem to be missing many models in their lineup. This I blame on Johan being an idiot and not getting the right product to market faster. Yes Cadillac has made great progress since the First Escalade, but they need to speed up getting said product out and turning Amazing Concepts into actual Products.
  9. We have seen plenty of FWD/AWD auto's that are performance AWD models. I think you could easily beef up the proper powertrain components and have a V-Sport edition of the XT5 using the TTV6 or if it could fit, wedge in the TTV8 and have an XT5 V edition.
  10. Yet Audi has had great SALES INCREASES with their FWD/AWD platform and it has not hurt them nor is there any stigma about them being FWD/AWD just like Cadillac, Acura, Lexus, etc..........
  11. Wonder if this delay is due to their new Battery plant co-creation deal they signed in China. Will take the next 24 months to build the site and get production started?
  12. Being a skin cancer survivor and having my face redone makes one think twice about being in the sun and especially in a convertible, but like I said even before I had cancer I never got the convertible thing. The rear seats, why bother, just make is storage room and give the front seats that much more room to be adjustable. Same as your obsession about cars. Both of you do the same Shampoo, Rinse, Repeat! But why bother with the back seats? You could give so much more room to the front two people with more adjustable seat options if you just made that unusable seat area storage area. I never got that even in the tight pony cars.
  13. It is all yours, never got the convertible thing, does nothing for me. I have to laugh at the waste of seats in the rear as you can see they are useless when any real person drives and then they pull them up to make the rear headrests look like big space from the front headrests and yet they are then so close to the dash which means only small people can drive the car. As far as the look goes, BLAND, Dash just looks cheap and as I said your welcome to the Convertible thing, and all the skin cancer that goes with it. Just never saw or got the convertible thing even when riding in them, no big deal to me, but I do acknowledge that to others they love that open air driving. MEH, I take an MB CUV over this every day!
  14. Just got this email from Cadillac about save the Date for the March 27th unveiling of the all new XT4.
  15. Love the Brown warm interior and over all the whole auto is just spot on for an update. My only dislike is what a number of fellow members have stated. The rear tail lights are just WRONG! My only other beef is that for the touch screen, yea a 1080P screen is an update, but in today's day of tech, why did they not go with a true high end screen like what Apple or Samsung have put into their tablets or smartphones. They should have gone beyond what everyone else has rather than just equalling them. Lead, do not follow the tech.
  16. Totally agree as most Boomers have stated they do not have the strength to sit down into a low riding car and would rather just slide their butts across the leather seats into a CUV.. Sitting low into a car is so overrated.
  17. I can tell you as one who has a fair amount of auto's with the 100,000 mile transmission fluid change that these are not your 90's version Transmissions and from an Engineering standpoint do just fine. In fact worse thing you could do is take a modern transmission to a place that does not have the proper flush tools and just replaces the filter and puts a new gasket on and then refills the transmission. They actually are designed to go 100,000 miles with not being touched. All of my SUVs that do see off road have done just fine.
  18. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery Drew.
  19. Good luck on that dream combo, VW seems to have moved away from TDi and manual. Sticks are pretty much dead as are diesels in anything other than a Pickup Truck or the few American CUVs.
  20. Considering I lived in Japan for 3 1/2 years while going to college and I stayed with a Host family that had a son going to Kobe University like me and was spoiled with very nice toy's, I also got spoiled being able to drive his cars and bikes and loved it. Once you drive a Skyline and see how dialed in they are, you cannot help but love them. Skyline is the pony car of Japan.
  21. I would rather they return the to R33 or R34 roots and introduce a REAL SKYLINE to the US!
  22. Of course she is lookin' at you! We all look at you!
