Industry News: Houston-Area Dealers See A Deluge of Buyers
Yes, looking at Leaf 1.0, your right, they are very cheap to pick up used and make an outstanding cheap commuter car. Talking True EV's with distance is a very different beast and used Tesla's hold their value very well. Used ICE Auto's at the start of the 1900's also were IN THE BASEMENT, people laughed at those who bought them over a dependable sturdy Horse. Yet here we are with you defending ICE against the Future EV's. Seems you have allot in common with the conservative stubborn Horse owners of the early 1900's.

August 2017: General Motors Co.
Very Cool info and pics on the upcoming C8 http://www.automobilemag.com/news/2019-chevrolet-corvette-c7-zr1-c8-zora-expect/ Loved this from the story: "Although not confirmed, a Cadillac sports car based on the mid-engine Corvette is believed to be under development. GM has trademarked the Manta Ray name for a performance variant of the C8 and E-Ray for a performance hybrid." I really Hope the e-Ray is for a pure EV version rather than a Hybrid.

August 2017: General Motors Co.
I never am Miserable, I love all I drive and enjoy all the choices we have. Just the OCD in me pays attention to the details far more than others and I expect a car to start out rust free. Sadly I have noticed that many various OEM builders seem to start a new auto out with rusty parts that I have to question.

Cool, I get it, Land Rover loves the Jeep Trailhawk edition and wants a version of that on their own, so red accent marks, a few tweaks here and there plus a winch and they have the Land Rover Trailhawk edition aka SVX. America builds it and they will come. The English wants what America has.- August 2017: General Motors Co.

The only F1 that I find interesting is the EV F1 racing where every team has 2 identical auto's and they truly have to race on driver skill. Otherwise the F1 ICE racing is so boring. Nascar is more entertaining, Hell just going to the local dirt racing track is a better night out than watching F1 on TV.- August 2017: General Motors Co.
You can say this about any auto out there. Perfect example is I am still suprised by the amount of rusty parts on the top of the line Mustang's. I love the Mustang as much as the Camaro and yet the Mustang for the money on their top of the line versions has rusty parts that should never be found and yet Ford does this over and over. Same with MB and BMW, I am always surprised to find short cut corners from the interior to the exterior and I can do the same with GM. Way to many places you can nitpick about an auto. In this case, SMK clearly has not been in a current corvette for say the last 30 years of his life if ever.- 191 replies

Your WACK and Have Clearly NO IDEA of the current Corvettes. Yes in the 80's the Interiors were average to less than and no longer. They are right there with the best. Pull yourself out of the MB Coolaid and Go Test Drive the current crop of Auto's, take a go pro and record your test drive and review of the auto so we can really see these poor interiors your talking of.- 191 replies

Agreed, the amount of lumber shipping to the south has really picked up here recently in the pacific northwest. I have to question the local governments allowing people to bring in new trailers and cheap building of homes of what was there. Time to rethink how they build and how strong the buildings are. Local gov and Feds should require homes in flood zones to be on stilts and be made of cement or steel strong enough to withstand storms like this plus have built in storm doors that roll down over windows and secure the place against the storm, looters, etc. Time to think long term as we are putting so much garbage in the ground due to a lack of recycling and building for long term life of the building.- Comments: Frankfurt 2017: Audi R8 V10 RWS Drops the Quattro
- 2013 to Today, Engines under 3 Liters and Turbocharged have gone backwards on MPG and Emissions in Real World Driving
I agree that there are many questions to ask and until they release the full report we just do not know. I for one am interested in seeing the testing used and how they match it all up. I can say on the auto's I have driven with a turbo motor, I have never gotten the MPG that was stated. I love my NA motors and see no need for a turbo.- Comments: Frankfurt 2017: Mercedes-AMG Project One Brings F1 Tech Into the Real World
Interesting, but I remember all the fan fare made of Mazda when they built the world's smallest V6 at 1.8 L and now we have a car with a 1.6L V6. So did MB just use Mazda's small motor and shrink it down? Course not, MB builds everything themselves. Wonder how efficient this Turbo V6 really is if it did not have all the electric motors and other electronic devices? Gotta Love Mid-Engines Corvettes and the future EV versions! AND the Corvette will do it at a fraction of the cost. It always has and yet MB has not been able to deliver a car that competes with the Corvette yet.- Comments: Frankfurt 2017: Mercedes-AMG Project One Brings F1 Tech Into the Real World

@Drew Dowdell This I find very interesting and tends to prove your own statements about Turbo small engines versus naturally aspirated bigger engines.- Industry News: Houston-Area Dealers See A Deluge of Buyers

- Comments: Frankfurt 2017: Volkswagen I.D. Crozz II Concept Previews the Production Model
Over all I really like what I see and HOpe VW keeps true to this concept as it would sell and sell well I suspect. Sadly VW has a bad habit of producing awesome concepts and then going ultra conservative to the point of falling asleep and not delivering what people got excited about. Wait and See,- Lincoln News: Rumorpile: Lincoln To Join Electrification Train In 2022
I am thinking people will see reduced rebates towards the end of this year. If Tesla Delivers on how many model 3 they build, it will hit based on S & X sales staying the same late Nov or early Dec and that will reduce down how much people will get to write off.
