  1. Well I'm going with overall, not just the interior. I love the Hemi, Ram hasn't officially announced the 8-speed with the Hemi the Ram people tell me with a wink and a nudge. The Ram is easily the best riding truck out there, better than the Avalanche even. It's got the Avalanche rip-off Ram box. It's looks bad-ass from the outside.... the only thing tipping me towards Avalanche over Ram is length. I can only fit so much truck in my driveway and the Avalanche gives me the 8-foot better without the awkward turn around in the driveway. My mistake, I thought we were just talking interior. As for the rest, I would certainly take a good look at a Ram if I were in the market today. Chevy is no longer my automatic "go to" for trucks. And this new one hasn't changed that. While the interior is a factor in my choice, I was speaking of Ram in overall terms as well, I think it's just the best looking styling wise and I'm a big fan of the Sport model with the Hemi.
  2. The steering wheel looks offset to the right in the new trucks as well, though it could just be the angle of the photos, but there is alot of dead space in the headlight switch housing it seems. I'm not a fan of the Ford's overall, I'd still take a Ram.
  3. These are what the '07's should have looked like from the start, these new models are just a big step behind where I was hoping they would be. I'm like Camino I was hoping for a more drastic change. I do like these quite alot for basically brand new 2007 models.
  4. Nice review, but I find it laughable that a 45K car doesn't have foglights standard. The front just looks a little too plain without them, perhaps it's because I'm used to seeing them on just about everything now. I think the styling is clean and crisp, though I'd like to see Art & Science evolve even further soon. I'm not really a fan of the look of CUE, I'd much rather have a real set of gauges that are styled nicely and in the long run have less of a chance of failing. Overall I think it's a nice package, but with a new 3 Series and 4 Series on the way, the ATS has it's work cut out for it.
  5. Close..the Yugo was based on the Fiat 127...the 126 was rear engined, the 127 front engine/fwd. I see, I admit I'm not too well informed when it comes to Fiat, though my father did own a couple many years ago. He had an early 70's Fiat Spyder which was wrecked in a rear end accident while on a date with my mother. The second was a Fiat 131 I believe which he had when I was very young, and it was a total lemon. Eventually he just left it on the side of the road one day and that was that. It wasn't even 10 years old at that point.
  6. If I'm not mistaken I believe the Fiat 126 was the basis of the Yugo as well. I didn't bother reading the info on the car, I just posted the pic cause I thought of Camino when I saw it, but my initial thought was that it was possibly a Yugo, so I guess I wasn't that far off.
  7. Here you go Camino, why keep that big gas guzzler when you can have this, the answer to all your plowing needs...
  8. I think the exterior looks great, it's one of the best looking BMW's in quite a long time IMO. That being said, what the hell is going on with that interior.
  9. This is even more of a pointless move than splitting Ram off from Dodge. I mean seriously, are they going to create sub brands for every model they produce now. I've been a supporter of what Fiat and Chrysler has done in the past few years, but this whole Ram situation is a bit ridiculous. The same goes for making SRT it's own brand when in fact you're buying the trim package for whichever car you want through it's respective brand.
  10. I like the fact he took the console out of an early 80's Fox body Mustang and printed "Bat Scanner" next to the warning lamp monitor. I mean sure this thing needs to be burned and after the fire dies out, burned again, but it's still great for a laugh. With that said, joke or not, I wouldn't be caught dead in that thing.
  11. That is quite possibly one of the ugliest cars I've seen in recent memory. Truly disgusting.
  12. That's true, but it's lacking the detail of the '60, such as the family crest elements and nice detailing in the silver that splits each shield. If a new logo could add those in, in some modern way I think it would be nice.
  13. As long as they keep the tri-shield I don't mind change. I never cared for the new Oldsmobile logo that debuted on the Aurora. It was fine for the Aurora at the time, but I missed the older rocket logo on the rest of the lineup. They could have done something along the lines of the current all chrome look like Buick has and kept the rocket logo. If Buick updated the look of 1959 logo Balthy posted, I think that could look pretty sweet.

  16. Sometime within the next year or so I will probably be looking to pick up something new ( for me ) More than likely I'll be looking at Silverado's or Ram's, possibly Jeeps as well. At this stage the Delta 88 will probably be sent to the crusher ( Sadly my restoration plans never materialized and in the passing time, rot and rust have had a field day on it ). The Riviera may be kept and passed down to my younger brother who will be turning 17. As of now I plan to possibly look at something around a 2010 model, maybe a year or two older. It all comes down to what's available and price wise. Options and things are also a factor, I'm not much of a base model kind of guy, and if I'm shelling out money to buy something this newish, I want it to be pretty well equipped.
  17. Thanks everyone, nothing exciting planned for today, except eating a big slice of ice cream cake. I used to have those every year on my birthday, but haven't done that as an adult. So this year I decided to revisit my childhood in that sense lol.
  18. Passed on my first try without ever taking driver's ed. I learned how to drive around age 5, and have been driving ever since then.
  19. Just checking in, power is still down in part of my house, kitchen, bathroom, dinning room all out. The bedrooms and living room had power through the whole storm. As I said earlier some weird wiring in this house, but at least the storm past sooner than we all expected, by late last night the brunt of it was over already here. Glad to see everyone made it out of this without any major problems. It seems these bad storms are happening all the time lately, I don't remember it being like this when I was a kid ( grew up in the 80's, 90's ). Though maybe I just didn't pay attention back then.
  20. The worst seems to have passed already here, rain stopped a few hours ago and the wind has been dying down, there's still powerful gusts but not a constant pounding wind like it was earlier.
  21. Lost partial power now, weird wiring in my house, the front half is without power save for the microwave, my bedroom which is at the rear still has power as of now. It's just odd the microwave is the only thing in the kitchen working currently.
