  1. I'll be there to help GM out when I purchase a new Camaro! I like the Pontiac brand alot. My girlfriend has a 2002 Grand Prix. It is a very nice car in my opinion and I think the same about alot of the other Pontiac cars. Its sad it came to this but if GM thinks they have to do this to stay alive then Im with them. Hopefully it doesn't bite them in the ass!
  2. Has GM said for sure that they will have the options for the ground effex kits and spoilers from the factory? I am Really considering getting one of these, but only if I can make it my own.
  3. All I can say is if the Big Three go down I hope Toyota goes with them. Maybe that will finally get there garbage out of our country. If the government doesn't do something soon people will be sorry!
  4. Yea thats true. They always been about the same looking its just got worse since they made the new car. You and I might know this but Id bet there are still people out there that think they are all completly different and that if say Toyota would win its suddenly the best car out there.
  5. Yea if it turned out to be all Toyota I wouldn't even bother to watch anymore.
  6. Toyota probably would have done the same! lol!
  7. I really don't care to much for the NASCAR CEO Brian France, but at least he is trying to help I suppose. http://www.nascar.com/2008/news/headlines/...s.ap/index.html
  8. Why doesn't the government just make Toyota pay the bailout money for the Big 3 seeing how they have been over here selling their garbage for years making profit while our Automakers are punished for it!
  9. I don't think its a waste of tax dollars. As far as that subject goes there has been alot worse things our tax dollars could and have gone to.
  10. As we speak Fox news and CNN are bashing the US Auto Companys. The media has no respect what so ever. There was even an analisyst on Fox News saying that Toyota was an American car and they were MADE here. I really wish people would get the facts straight. You have people emailing CNN complaining about giving them the bailout money, but you don't hear one word about the banks getting their money. One guy was even crying about how American cars are unreliable. These are most likely the people who have no idea how to change oil or rotate a tire or do a brake job. Alot of people do not do PREVENTIVE maintenece in my experience with used cars, and this just tells me that people want to make it the car companys fault when its no ones fault but their own because they are complete idiots and know nothing about a car!
  11. As for scaling back the dealerships The one dealer here TEAM Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac just bought the Pontiac, GMC dealer (Jabbco Maggi) Now its called TEAM Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC.
  12. Yep I agree with you there 100% Maybe if the government wants them to have all of this crap done to the cars maybe they should take over and worry about how to get it done.
  13. I don't think that the G8 is a dud I just think it costs way to much. I know the other day I went through the dealership with my mother and Girlfriend and they really liked the look of the G8 including me, but when they saw the price tag they said no way thats just to much for a car. The prices of vehicles anymore is just so high people are sticking with what they have espically the way the economy is right now.
  14. If this happens I'll head straight for the Ford Dealership.
  15. Gee Let me see Management needs to go? Theyve had plenty of chances to fix this? I think that the U.S goverment has screwed this up by letting all these jap pieces of crap be sold over here.
  16. I see the end for everyone if the government keeps it up. I say to help keep americans buying american cars why not go the route of the gas guzzler tax and charge foreign car buyers a Foreign car tax. Your free to buy what you want, but I say if you don't want to buy American and support the American Economy you should be punished for it!
  17. Happy Birthday GM! As long as I am alive the only vehicle I'll own is a General Motors one!
  18. Thats a pretty sharp looking car in white!
  19. Yea The T56 is the same 6 speed tranny that came in Camaros right? Sounds like it would be a good car Ive head alot of good things about Dana rear ends, and I know that the LS series engines are stout. I didn't know they put LS2's in them I thought they were all just LS1's
  20. Yes a Used GTO but a new body style. Im seriously thinking about buying one, but I don't know if I can stand to get rid of my truck. I might just wait a few years until its paid off and try to find a nice GTO then.
  21. Well I was thinking about trading my 2005 Silverado in on a new Pontiac GTO. Probably won't happen but ive been thinking about it. Anyway I need some help with info on the GTO. If I get one it would be a 6 speed manual. Anyone have any idea how strong the clutches and rear ends are in these cars. I wouldn't rip the car around alot maybe once in a while. I just want to know if one of these cars are pretty reliable?
  22. ONCE AGAIN THANK OUR WONDERFUL US GOVERNMENT FOR TAKING THE OIL COMPANIES SIDE AND ONCE AGAIN TRYING TO DRIVE THE US WORKFORCE INTO THE $h!TER!!!
  23. This isn't going to stop anyone from buyin their junk it never does. The morons that are so loyal to Toyota seem like the just don't care and they buy the crap anyway. I also love how this isn't plastered all over the news but if it were a Ford, Dodge, or Chevy it would be everywhere. Im done trying to convince people to buy American vehicles because they don't want to listen. I guess theyll just learn when our economy is in the $h!ter and we have no jobs and the Japs rule the country!
  24. Exec who ushered Toyota to NASCAR set to retire By Official Release March 4, 2008 07:05 PM EST TORRANCE, Calif. -- Jim Aust, who has been responsible for Toyota's motorsports activities in the United States for the past 10 years, has announced his retirement. Aust will step down on June 30 as vice president of motorsports for Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. and president and chief executive officer of Toyota Racing Development, U.S.A. Toyota's racing programs in the U.S. flourished under Aust's leadership and included a victory in the Indianapolis 500, multiple series championships and the expansion of the company's racing activities into NASCAR. AustBeginning in 2004, Toyota began competing in the Craftsman Truck Series with the Tundra and last year Toyota entered the Camry in the Cup Series, the premiere race series in the U.S. "Jim has played an integral role in the growth of Toyota's racing activities in the U.S.," said Dave Illingworth, TMS senior vice president, chief planning and administrative officer. "From the high banks of NASCAR to short track midget racing, drag racing, sports cars and off-road trucks, Toyotas are now racing and winning at tracks across the country." Aust joined Toyota in 1987 and held various management positions in the Toyota Motor Credit Corporation/Toyota Motor Insurance Services division before moving to motorsports in 1998. "There are a lot of great memories, made possible by the hard work of the people at TRD and the great teams and drivers running with Toyota power," Aust said. "There was Toyota's first CART win by Juan Pablo Montoya, Gil de Ferran's Indy 500 win, a CART championship for Cristiano da Matta and an IRL championship for Scott Dixon, Johnny Greaves' multiple championships in CORR, Todd Bodine's championship in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the three-peat by Ganassi Racing in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. "Seeing a Camry compete in the Daytona 500 last year for the first time was very special and I expect to see Toyota's first Sprint Cup victory before I retire in June." Aust's replacements at TMS and TRD will be announced closer to his retirement date. What a joke about how special it was to see a Camry in the 2006 Daytona 500. Im tired of people acting like Toyota is so American! Wake up people they are not made here they are ASSEMBLED here! They are still Japanese vehicles!!!
  25. Still looks like a jap piece of $h! to me! I still don't understand how this car outsells the Malibu?
