  1. This one does NOT belong in the music thread. Its more like a thought I just had. Aint no lie. Bye Bye Bye
  2. primal
  3. LMFAO YOU SSSTOOHLE IT!!! HEEEEE STOOOHLE IT!!! MFSAS
  4. A couple of Montreal connections (maybe too political for some, so I'll omit naming names. I just learned about this tidbit of info from my wife today) Its the imagery of this video in the beginning that Im getting a kick out of and what Im thinking EXACTLY right about now. And last but not least, a song that I was just introduced to 2 days ago.
  5. Buggy
  6. @A Horse With No Name Laughing at the Halloween scene. I felt sorrow for the rest of your post.
  7. I bet if Elon Musk cologne was a thing, it smell like....weed.
  8. Terrain! Terrain! Pull up! Pull up!
  9. I dont particularly like the Jag E Type myself. I dont know what it is about it that rubs me the wrong way, but I just analyzed one and I think its what you just described. Very sleek car. Sexy on top as you described it. Awesome very long hood and very short deck. But yeah...now that you mentioned it, its the bottom that I cant stand as there is nothing going on. Non-existent front and back end below the bumper. Tooo much exhaust exposure on the bottom due to lack of body panels. Sure it makes it look sleeker, but like you say, it lends itself to be un-complete. If it had a more complete bottom, it wouldnt take away from the sleekness as the very very long hood and very very short deck and the cabin being back there would still keep it a very sleek design. I also dont llike the grill. Catfish mouth and face....
  10. My criteria is not as elaborate and refined as yours. I will eventually learn to critique the way you do. Im open to it. Ill ask you why you feel that way so I could pick your brain from time to time.
  11. ^^^ I should have known. We've had a similar talk a few years back about a certain Ferrari. Its ALWAYS about the bigger picture with you. The WHOLE package. The WHOLE car. Yes. Ill have to agree with you. Especially with the picture of the Corvette side by side, the front end seems desperately lacking in the DB5. PS: I saw all that you explained before you wrote it. I had time to sneek in my post before you added your explanation.
  12. Well... opines like these are personal, and I wont grill you for the Jenson as I could see why some folk wont find it beautiful, but for the the Aston Martin DB5...I find it perplexing that you dont like it...

  15. Quebecois somewhat let their guard down right after the summer was over. Our politicians had to wrestle us back into reality. When the schools opened up, we got huge spikes of infections. Lockdowns happened again, albeit not all over the province, but in the "red zones". The most problematic. Lockdowns are still in effect as we speak, our cases have been stabilized, but at an average of 1000 new Covid cases/day, not exactly great news. Our deaths are about 7-8/day. Sometimes we get 20-25 deaths for a couple of days then we drop down to 5 or fewer deaths for 4-5 days in a row. Our hospitalizations are not quite critical, but we arent exactly on the cusp of being in control either. We are getting restless about the whole thing though. The confinements, the mask wearing. XMAS is just around the corner and our doctors and politicians are fearing the worst in us in that we wont respect isolating ourselves from visiting our friends and family and avoiding "super spreader" gatherings during the upcoming holidays. We barely got through our Thanksgiving. As a society in Quebec, we dont see a near future where vaccines are a reality. We as a society do see our near future as a pain in the ass to get around life as we do understand that Covid will be with us for quite sometime still. But we are also quite fed up with it and I think we are just about ready to give up on the cautious way of living and just say phoque it! I hopes that we Quebecois could hold it together for just a tad more longer.
  16. I dont like BMW, but hey...this is an EV thread after all...
  17. Ill meet the Hummer sometime later in the day. Thanx!
  18. somebody in government, should suggest that. Where will this idea come from since most politicians are brain dead, corrupt or both? How 'bout somebody in the general population raise awareness, get steam behind THAT idea and force the government to do just that. Democracy is actually run that way... Declaring one's self as the winner in an un-finished election is...um...not. But I am digressing again.
  19. Everybody has got some sort of plan to try to get of off the internal combustion engine for personal transportational needs. Even Greece for crying out loud. An almost third world country at times since the Ottoman empire blazed through. A not so much better than a third world country since she gained her freedom back including her bankruptcy a decade ago. Diesel scandal or not, it seems the Greek people and government, (in a more or less honest and ideal democracy, the populous and the government should be one and the same...we all knwo that is quite the feat to accomplish, some say impossible but I digress) are on the same page of where the future SHOULD be regarding the earth's well being and the internal combustion engine. An American that bled General Motors, still does. He is on that same wave length. http://www.autoextremist.com/
  20. Salsa Everybody Salsa!
  21. That whole post above is YOU being divisive. You dont see that? Including a dig at someone else's leader. With no proof. Tyrannical....but you laughed at that... Phoquing ironic... You condone what happened on a Texas highway? You simply give excuses and you downplay the whole thing? Maybe I shouldnt have called that caravan white supremacists, regardless what I call them and who they are, that somehow excuses their behavior? In a supposed free, DEMOCRATIC "Republic" such as your country and you are OK with that? Boggles my mind... But you be you, my friend. You be you.
