Hyundai News:Hyundai Surprises in New York with 2027 Hyundai Boulder Concept
Haha right?! Then again, I don't actually know what has been wrong with the Bronco. I know right out of the gate it had the horrid hardtop wind issue, but I don't actually know what's been wrong with it since.

Hyundai News:Hyundai Surprises in New York with 2027 Hyundai Boulder Concept
Unless it's an EV, Hyundai/Kia aren't known for reliable ICE vehicles. I couldn't find anything here that states if it's supposed to be ICE or EV. Did I miss it by chance?

Lexus News: 2026 Lexus ES Launches with EV First, Hybrid to Follow
You're on to something here, but I kind of disagree-ish..lol I think it does have a pretty high beltline but it also had a pretty tall peak window height, buuuuuuut the window isn't conventionally shaped. It looks like it is nearly a 45 degree angle from the point at the front to the peak by the door opening. Maybe it's just the angle of the picture but it looks like it gets tall faster rather than a longer window that gets to its peak over a longer distance. Does this make sense or am I just rambling and I can't get the thought out of my head clearly? I understand what I'm thinking, but I don't think I can turn it into words very well, haha.

I can't tell if I like how this looks or not. Part of me likes the exterior quite a bit but something stands out to me that I just don't love. I think maybe it's the greenhouse's height. It almost just looks too tall. Is this based off the Crown?

While I don't exactly think anything going on is right, I also don't think trusting anything an oil company CEO says is smart either. They've kind of been known to stick it to us over the last... forever-number-of-years. Chevron is the prime beneficiary of the Venezuelan oil situation so they have reasons to want to keep oil prices high. They're producing more and selling it higher.

Discussion:2027 Audi RS 5 Hybrid, 630 HP, 177 MPH, 50 Miles of Electric Driving
I can't tell if I like what this is or not. Part of me applauds the use of hybrid technology to make a quick and efficient car. The other part of me things it's unnecessarily heavy and complex to achieve that. I say this because if I were to actually be shopping for this, do I really care about 50 miles of range in a performance car like this? I probably wouldn't. I'd likely want a full EV for daily use and a full ICE for toying around. I get this bridges the gap and is an all-in-one car instead of two, but I just don't see myself ever wanting something like this. I freakin love how the hatchback looks though.

Honda News: Honda Prologue Is Likely to End Production This Year
Maybe because I'm not a Costco member, but that link didn't show any Hondas. It showed deals on Volvos, Polestars, and the Silverado EV. Also, nowhere close to 17k. The best deal was 2k off for the EX90 and only for executive members. Ideally, I'd love the press release green/blue. I'd settle for the other blue or red and would really not want silver, white or black. If I'm being honest though, I'm sure I'd still buy silver, white or black for the right price. Okay, maybe not black. I don't want to deal with a black color and trying to keep it clean. I've had one black car and that was enough to experience the hatred for attempting to keep it clean.

Nissan News: 2027 Nissan Z Gets Manual NISMO, GT-R Brakes, and a New Color
These really are good looking cars out in the wild. I know the grille area has been an area of contention for some, but I think it looks perfectly fine. Does the non-NISMO Z already have a 6-speed transmission? Or is this is the first manual offered in the Z? Regardless, it's nice for us enthusiasts to gain another manual option.

Discussion:2027 BMW i3 Sedan: Neue Klasse 800V EV With 463 HP and 440-Mile Range
The things is, there was not a single thing stopping the legacies from jumping into the EV world head-on also. They knew they were funding Tesla and they could have stopped the bleeding early on with investing into BEVs. They had the ability to offset their own efficiencies, but chose not to. Right? Or was there something in writing that wouldn't allow that?

The auto industry also has the ability to just "do the right thing" on their own, right? i get that the president is a POS and he makes bad decision after bad decision, but this also needs to be put onto the auto manufacturers. They had 15 years to get to the point of building affordable BEVs with adequate range, but they sat on their hands until like 2019 or so, while getting our tax dollars. Now that they aren't getting our extra tax dollars they just decide to cancel them? That sounds exactly like the "corporate greed" that all of us regular people are sick and tired of. The fact that it is something oh so earily broken. They're unnecessarily funky to operate. Oh, and we get ice here in the Midwest and I can guarantee they are, at the very least, finicky when it's 0 degrees F and there's ice on the vehicle. The fact that there's even discussions on a door handle and how it operates, means it's been over-thought. These stupid flush door handles very likely would not stop me from buying something with them, but that doesn't mean I have to like that function.

I don't love the headlight area, but I feel like it is the kind of thing that could grow on my and look better in person. I appreciate them getting the kidney grills going in the correct direction again. I don't love that screen, at all. However, it may be the kind of thing that just works well for the driver but photographs like crap from straight on, because of the "odd" shape. Those damn doorhandles. I understand the aero benefit of them, but I hate them. Why is it on the president for the manufacturers to make and sell the vehicles? Our President is a complete idiot, but I also don't exactly think it should be on the people to compensate the manufacturers to make these vehicles. They had like a 15 year runway to establish themselves in this market and all they drug their feet until the last minute. As soon as the government took their(our) $7500 off the table, all the manufactures feel the need to "reevaluate" their EV portfolio and future.

Isn't the A5 Sportback that, too, then?

A couple off the top of my head that are missing are the Audi A5 Sportback and A7 (I guess only the RS7 is still around in the US). Doesn't BMW also have a four-door version of the 4 Series? Or has that gone away? The Corolla/hatchback/GR Corolla and Prius are still around. Oh yeah, and the Crown. Although the Crown is kind of a weird class, almost of its own. Merc has the CLA still. BMS has a 4-door 2 Series. I assume this list was just ICE sedans..? If you expanded to BEVs, the list gets much larger.
