  1. Well, if they've sold 96,225 through September that's only 9 months. 10,691 averave per month. I wouldn't expect November or December to maintain those high of sales though. Tough to sell RWD sports cars anywhere near north in the US when there's frost on the ground and knowing snow will be here soon, if it already isn't. My bad. I apologize. I was thinking Oct. Hence 96,000/10months which brought me to my incorrect tally. I'm even more impressed now!
  2. Almost 100k Mustangs YTD! Averaging close to 10k a month must please Ford.
  3. Why are you feeding him (as evidenced by his lack of knowledge as to why production stopped on the previous F bodies in the first place)? I'm just putting up facts and third-party articles, as I usually do to back up my points. The folks in charge know what's what. The points I brought up about the Shelby's projected performance numbers were an illustration of how you need to improve all aspects of a car before you can jack prices and keep sales strong. I used Mopar as an example of how to do it right, and I expect that I may be able to use GM in a few day's time. Oh I'm not debating the facts you are presenting. It's who you are presenting them to when you know where this will end up. Just an observation. Topic please. And that thread topic is SALES Nice work Ford! A 23% increase is remarkable!
  4. Most everyone backs away from ocn on this claim. I wouldn't necessarily say backs away.
  5. Enough of your charades. You didn't need to mention 'anyone by name'. Your intentions were loud and clear. Wash, rinse, repeat. Oh and what is charades? Its a game. Like what youre playing here - wondering if anyone is going to call me out ( and in doing that, YOU called me out ). And then going on a few times ( rinse/repeat ) about how you didn't mention anyone by name.

  7. And Mod friend I still chat with from one of those other sites happened to mention bong was banned for what you say and his endless trolling. Hmmm, so I wonder if anyone will go after you for mentioning the ban of another member on a another site. One could easily say you just did. I mentioned no one. You did though. Thanks for playing. Enough of your charades. You didn't need to mention 'anyone by name'. Your intentions were loud and clear.

  10. +1 Oh there is certainly a uproar. From the link below, "Hundreds of deaths resulted from GM's conduct, and yet they simply write a check and go home. This is a remarkably jaw-dropping and incredibly sad result." - Robert Hilliard http://www.autoblog.com/2015/09/17/safety-advocates-disgusted-justice-department-gm-deal/ In full agreement.
  11. For extreme opposite of the 2017 Raptor I'll MAKE a street/strip terror. Use the featherweight reg cab 2015 F-150 ( short box ). Add the upcoming Ford GT killer 3.5L EcoBoost, transmission and a street/strip tuned version of the 2017 Raptor 4WD, keep interior all business ( no nav, roll up windows etc ), keep exterior clear of lane graphics etc and cover this monster in Ingot Silver.
  12. 2017 Raptor SuperCab draped in Ingot Silver.
  13. I also think it would be a good comparison. Thank you.
  14. Wings4Life, Since you were able to provide a dyno graph of the Voodoo HP/TQ vs the LS7, what are the chances of finding/creating one for the 5.0L in the 2015 F-150 vs the 5.3L in the 2015 Silverado?
  15. Well rumour has it GM will be building a DOHC V-8, albeit a Twin Turbo GDI one. It's rumoured to be 4.0L
  16. Say what you will. If sales keep sliding, there'll be more layoffs at other plants to go with the ones let go, and have yet to come back, at Lansing Grand River - so it seems it has gotten worse for some.
  17. It's the rest of the lineup needs help. With the exception of the Escalade ESV being up a smidgen, the SRX was the only Cadillac to post any resemblance to meaningful gains for August 2015. ATS was down 12.66 percent to 2,449 units CTS was down 33.26 percent to 1,730 units ELR was down 77 percent to 45 units Escalade was down 22.27 percent to 1,770 units and Escalade ESV was up 4.22 percent to 1,310 units SRX was up 51.88 percent to 6,903 units XTS was down 48.59 percent to 1,531 units.
  18. Wrong thread. There is a thread for discussing Lightning Lap performance. But you deflecting to Ford yet again speaks volumes of your negative narrative. I've never seen someone so obsessed that goes so far out of their way to bash an automaker.
